President Donald J. Trump debuted the new White House “Rose Garden Club” by hosting its first gathering on Friday night, and California Governor Gavin Newsom was crying like a baby.
The new patio, which sits on a recently paved grassy area in the Rose Garden, will be a place to “bring people together,” and while speaking to the inaugural crowd, which was mostly comprised of Republicans, the president said that he hopes that Democrats will come and “mingle” in the future.
“We have worked very hard to bring it to fruition, and not an easy situation, but it’s something that I think we’re all going to enjoy for many, many years to come. It’s a tremendous place,” Trump said.
One Democrat who isn’t likely to accept an invite is Newsom, the trash-talking self-anointed new leader of the left-wing resistance that is devoted to opposing anything that Trump says or does. The gaunt governor whined about the festive event by suggesting that Trump and Republicans are unconcerned about the economic problems faced by ordinary Americans and huffing about the president’s favorite carbonated beverage.

“Our economy is in a downward spiral, but don’t worry — the @GOP are spending their time cheering Diet Cokes at a new, exclusive ‘club,’” Newsom wrote on X, sharing a post from GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson, who was a guest.
The economy has been gradually improving since Trump took office, although some prices remain stubbornly high after four disastrous years of “Bidenomics” when the former president’s ruinous policies contributed to the worst inflation in four decades, especially grocery prices.
And because all that leftists do is destroy anything that’s good, the 2028 Democrat frontrunner vowed to uproot the patio if he wins the election, blowing into town on a mission, like the Grinch stealing Christmas.
“1.20.2029” wrote Newsom’s team at his Governor Newsom Press office X account, which has been a toxic sewage pipe of mean jabs, distortions, and outright lies that has bucked up demoralized leftists whose entire reason for living is to resist Trump. The account also featured a fake post from the White House Rapid Response 47 account with a big blue “CLOSING SOON” sign over the Rose Garden club.

There should be no doubt that ripping it all up will be a top priority for Newsom, who is heavily hands-on in terms of managing the content of the cringeworthy account. In a recent statement to BPR, a Newsom spokesperson said that the account’s posts “are the product of Governor Gavin Newsom himself, along with a group of staffers assisting him.”

“The Rose Garden Club at the White House is the hottest place to be in Washington, or perhaps the world. The president looks forward to welcoming top business, political, and tech leaders for this dinner and the many dinners to come on the new, beautiful Rose Garden patio,” White House spokesman Davis Ingle told the New York Post.
The renovation also eliminated the problem of an area known for becoming swampy when it rains.
“Every time we’d have a press conference, women in particular were sinking deep into the mud, and at some point, I said, you know, it’s time to make the change. We picked a great stone, and we have a great speaker system,” Trump said of the now-upgraded area.
