There may be no finer example of an America-last establishment elitist than Samantha Power who is either tone deaf or rubbing the misery of Hurricane Helene victims in their faces.
In a video posted to social media on Friday, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) administrator and former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations boasted about how the federal government is providing electrical equipment to Ukraine to “keep the lights and heat on” amid Russian attacks on infrastructure.
Clad in a hard hat and working vest during a visit to a substation in the war-torn Eurasian country, Power explained how the globalist agency is replacing autotransformers in a land on the other side of the planet while hundreds of thousands of Americans still don’t have electrical power in the aftermath of the devastating storm.

“I’m here in an energy substation in the western region of Ukraine,” Power began. “The substation provides enough power for around 500,000 residents of this area. I’m standing in front of an autotransformer that used to provide power but that Putin’s forces destroyed back in 2022.”
“USAID is doubling our investments in replacing autotransformers that have been damaged or destroyed and in providing protection to the energy infrastructure that remains. Thanks to the support of the American people,” she said.
Power was lit up by X users over her curiously timed post.
I don’t think you realize just how bad the optics of this are with hundreds of thousands still without power a week after Hurricane Helene. https://t.co/bSiSRqHETh

When are you going to help Americans? You know, the ones paying the bills.

President Trump and Elon Musk, when you start cleaning out that rats nest of useless people in the the AMERICAN GOVERNMENT, please start here.

Keep posting stupidity like this. While your Ukrainian sponsors may like it, your average American understands the betrayal it represents to our nation, especially those Americans who are in need. The Biden/Harris/Power priorities are on display for all to see.

How about the Americans with no lights and heat?! How about US aid for actual Americans.

I am watching this video in a house without power. The sun has just set.
So you are making sure the lights stay on in Ukraine while thousands of Americans are currently still sitting the dark. https://t.co/9NGAkgjZqB

Read my lips: we do not care about Ukraine!!! We know you and this corrupt administration are benefiting from the billions of our tax dollars that we DID NOT approve. You are disgraceful.

Also on Friday, another tone-deaf globalist regime official took to X to share the information that American taxpayers will be sending $157 million overseas to Lebanon.
The U.S. is at the forefront of humanitarian response to the growing crisis in Lebanon, announcing nearly $157 million in assistance today. We are committed to supporting those in need and delivering essential aid to displaced civilians, refugees and the communities hosting them.
