Scandal-soaked presidential son Hunter Biden is tired of being a punching bag and intends to “fight back” as Republicans will likely use his sordid exploits to fuel attacks against his father when the 2024 election season heats up.
A Wall Street Journal report suggests that the younger Biden isn’t going to sit back and take it as reports of his sleazy foreign business dealings and even sleazier personal behavior continue to make headlines, painting a very different picture of President Joe Biden and his family than has been presented to the American people.
“He’s not going to sit back and passively take the smears, attacks and lies from certain Republicans in their glass houses,” Michael LaRosa a former aide to First Lady Jill Biden said, according to the outlet. “You’ll eventually see and hear a more outspoken Hunter Biden fight back this time around.”
It isn’t clear how such a disreputable figure is going to be able to “fight back” when his shady foreign business dealings, drug-fueled sexual degeneracy, and morally bereft character have already been established in the public mind.
There is also the foreign bribery scheme involving Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian energy company where Hunter Biden sat on the board, which has led to an investigation from Congress that is showing signs of developing into a full-blown impeachment inquiry of his father who was allegedly on the receiving end of the loot.
As scandal swirls around Hunter Biden, there is more of a public spotlight on the 53-year-old than ever and he has been increasingly visible at his father’s side, including a recent White House state dinner for Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month that raised eyebrows when he was seen schmoozing with the crowd that included AG Merrick Garland shortly after his “sweetheart” plea deal with the Justice Department on tax and gun charged was agreed to.
While the plea deal has at least temporarily been nixed by Judge Maryellen Noreika who balked at certain aspects of the agreement, the president’s son remains the key to unraveling the web of Biden family corruption and his former business partner could soon spill his guts over what he knows about Hunter Biden.
Devon Archer who is set to testify to the House Oversight Committee has gone into hiding due to threats that forced him to “flee both his Long Island and Brooklyn homes” with the Daily Mail reporting that he is “concerned” for the safety of himself and his family.

The potential exists for Archer to provide explosive testimony about Hunter Biden’s corrupt dealings and meetings which his father who was at the time the vice president, was said to have been involved in via speakerphone.
The White House and Biden’s media allies have been able to milk public sympathy over the narrative of a loving father providing support for his son’s addiction troubles but the corruption has become too much to simply sweep under the rug.

Some Democrats remain confident that any Republican strategy seeking to use Hunter Biden’s troubles against his father’s reelection bid will prove to be futile.
“They tried and tried and tried to make the Biden family an issue in 2020—and lost,” said Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) who represents the Bidens’ home state.
“They tried again harder to make Hunter in particular an issue in 2022,” he added, saying the result was a poor showing in the midterms. “So by all means, try again,” Coons said, according to the WSJ.
