A married Colorado middle school secretary who raped a 13-year-old boy for months is now on the run and has likely fled the state.
Brenda Meza, 34, a secretary at the Franklin Middle School in Greeley, was outed as a rapist on Feb. 12 when the Greeley Police Department (GPD) responded to “reports of a sexual assault” involving a 13-year-old student and a school staffer, according to a GPD press release.
“During the investigation, it was determined Meza engaged in continuous sexual abuse of the minor for several months,” the press release notes. “As a result of the investigation, Brenda Meza is currently wanted on several Felony charges.”
However, when the police eventually went to arrest Meza, who also coached the school’s cross-country team and advised the games club, she was gone.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by the New York Post, Meza was so infatuated with the victim that she told him that his penis was bigger than her husband’s, she claimed she felt like she’d known him in another life, and she even got jealous when he talked to girls his own age.
Word of the abuse first appeared in early February, when an anonymous tipster alerted the school about it. After school officials confronted Meza, she reportedly went home and told her husband everything, including the fact that she enjoyed getting high with the teen.
It was the husband who then reportedly told the cops about her.
During an initial interview conducted before Meza fled, she admitted that she and the victim “got super close to each other … almost [to] the point of having sex.” She eventually confessed to having relations with the victim in the back seat of her car.
“The illicit tryst had taken off after the boy found her Instagram during Thanksgiving break – sparking a series of sick text exchanges, including sexting lewd pics,” according to the Post.
“During questioning, Meza said she had deleted the nudes from her phone – which included approximately four from the boy – because she didn’t want her husband to see them,” the Post noted.

The abuse picked up steam in January, “with Meza purchasing marijuana edibles and BuzzBallz – ready-to-drink cocktails – for the pair to consume during a meetup in a Walmart parking lot.”
In the parking lot, the two “started to kiss and touch each other.” They eventually transitioned into the back seat, where they proceeded to engage in intercourse for the first time.
A few weeks later, they had sex again — while reportedly smoking marijuana — in the backseat of Meza’s car as she was parked at a park.
“A download of Meza’s phone by police later unearthed photos of the duo inside the car, pictures of the boy drinking BuzzBallz and holding marijuana blunts and even images of the two of them together at after-school activities,” according to the Post.
The two later had sex again at the same park. In addition, between Jan. 29 and Feb. 12, the two texted “I love you” to one another 81 times.
Yet after she was contacted by police on Feb. 12, she texted her victim to “delete my number.” A few hours later, her victim contacted her through Instagram, saying he felt guilty and that they’re (presumably the police) “gonna have to talk to me and my mom.”
After Meza was busted, she was placed on administrative leave. She was later terminated on Feb. 25, by which time she’d disappeared. Once found, she’ll be charged with 12 felonies, including sexual assault of a child, Internet luring of a child, tampering with physical evidence, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
