Scott Jennings likens Kamala’s border visit to an ‘arsonist’ returning to the crime scene

Vice President Kamala Harris’ big public relations trip to the southern border was like an “arsonist” returning to a crime scene, CNN’s Scott Jennings said.

After the Democrat nominee’s “completely staged” visit to Douglas, Arizona, the conservative pundit predicted that it was a “tactical mistake” by Harris and her handlers, and would only remind voters of her disastrous performance as Joe Biden’s “border czar” as the nation has been flooded by millions of illegal aliens, many of them criminals.

On Friday’s edition of “Anderson Cooper 360°” on the cable network which has been among Harris’ biggest cheerleaders, Jennings broke down the veep’s stunt with host Anderson Cooper and former Obama administration official Van Jones.

“She got something done on the border, she wanted him to separate from Biden,” Jones sarcastically proclaimed. “She separated from Biden, so I expect Republicans to give her a lot of love today.”

“Scott Jennings, are you gonna give her a lot of love today?” Cooper asked.

“I love brother Van, as he knows, and I mean that, I love him like a brother, but no, there’ll be no love from me or Republicans for Kamala Harris today,” Jennings responded. “In fact, I think the Trump campaign line today ought to be ‘arsonist returns to scene of crime.'”

“I mean, look at the last three-and-a-half years, we’ve got– the border has effectively been opened,” he continued. “People flowing across, ICE today released information that there are 13,000 noncitizens convicted of homicide and almost 16,000 noncitizens convicted of some kind of sexual crime who are in the country right now.”

Jennings was referring to the stunning U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement data showing that over 600,000 criminal foreigners have crossed into the U.S. with nearly 30,000 having been convicted of homicide or sexual assault, proving that former President Donald J. Trump has been right all along about the “murderers” and “rapists” who have been swarming into the country over the porous border.

“Only because we’re in the shadow of an election is Kamala Harris trying to rush and pay some lip service to this issue as a tactical matter,” Jennings added. “I don’t think Harris should be trying to elevate this issue because this is the best ground from which Donald Trump has to fight. So no, I think the Harris campaign is making a tactical mistake and I think they have very little to say that the American people are going to buy on this today.”

“In the latest data, the criminals include 62,231 convicted of assault, 14,301 convicted of burglary, 56,533 with drug convictions and 13,099 convicted of homicide. An additional 2,521 have kidnapping convictions, and 15,811 have sexual assault convictions. There are an additional 1,845 with pending homicide charges, 42,915 with assault charges, 3,266 with burglary charges and 4,250 with assault charges,” Fox News reported on the pre-election bombshell showing the “border czar” has allowed the country to be invaded by dangerous foreign criminals on her watch.
