Secret Service was not messing around when a female protestor barreled toward President Joe Biden’s motorcade armed with a megaphone and her opinions.
During a visit to Los Angeles for the Ninth Summit of the Americas, Biden was greeted by a line of demonstrators who had several grievances, including the exclusion of Cuban, Nicaraguan and Venezuelan leaders from the summit. Passions boiled over when an unidentified woman marched across the street to get up close and personal with the president’s motorcade.
It is reported that she was there to protest in favor of abortion rights, and rushed toward the vehicles to make her opinions on the matter clear. In no time at all, she was manhandled to the ground by a Secret Service officer who struggled with her, and even appeared to slap her as she violently resisted him.

She could be heard shouting rhetoric like “you need to codify” and “use your f***ing executive-” before she was tackled, and during her brief struggle with the officer she was shouting abortion talking points.
A statement from Secret Service described the situation thusly:
Shortly after 5:00 pm, an adult female entered a restricted roadway along a motorcade route on Chick Hearn Ct. in Los Angeles. As the woman approached passing vehicles, a United States Secret Service agent swiftly removed her from the roadway and placed her into custody. There was no impact to the motorcade movement or our protectees. Our investigation into this incident is ongoing.
Social media reaction to the video was swift:
Please, she loved it! She couldn’t wait for a strong man in a uniform to put handcuffs on her.

You don’t do that to a presidential motorcade. I’m not a Biden guy, but she got what she deserved.
Police departments across the nation, take note.— David Lohago (@DavidLohago) June 9, 2022
Can I get this slam and beat down video on constant loop? That protester hitting the pavement just has that feel-good moment.

That has to be one of the best things I’ve watched today.

Several years ago in Grand Junction some guy tried to stop a motorcade for someone under the protection of the Secret Service (possibly John McCain). I heard that he was lucky the local police dragged him away before the Secret Service had to apply their rules of engagement.

You don’t approach the president. Keep your feelings in check or someone IS GOING to do it for you!
