‘Screw that’ – bloodthirsty Lindsey Graham loses it over reports of Iran diplomacy

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) lost it over the idea that Iran could be permitted to keep a small amount of enriched uranium to save face and angrily demanded another regime change war in the Middle East.

It remains to be seen whether high-stakes diplomatic talks being held on Thursday in Geneva will provide a breakthrough that will prevent what now seems like an inevitable attack on the Islamic Republic, but any effort to prevent what many believe will be a costly mistake isn’t likely to sit well with Graham, the biggest hawk in the U.S. Congress.

In a Thursday post to X, the South Carolina Republican went off, likening the mullahs who run Iran to Nazis and declaring “screw that” to media reports suggesting there could be a concession involving the uranium.

“If media reports are true that there is a consideration of allowing Iran to have very small enrichment of uranium for face-saving purposes: screw that,” he wrote.

“This regime is made up of religious Nazis that are the largest state sponsor of terrorism. The regime has American blood on its hands, and they have killed over 30,000 of their citizens simply because they demand the end to their oppression,” Graham continued. ” I could care less about efforts to save face for this regime. I would like to see the people of Iran change the regime – it’s long overdue.  I hope help is on the way.”

It is unclear which media reports the senator was referring to.

A crazed and bloodthirsty warmonger who has never met a foreign war that he’s not eager to send Americans off to die in, Graham has been one of the loudest voices for removing the ayatollahs who have ruled Iran with an iron fist since the Islamic Revolution toppled the old order in 1979.

Last month, the senator told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that he had given President Donald J. Trump a “Make Iran Great Again” hat, proclaiming that the current president isn’t Barack Obama and vowing that defying him will result in deadly consequences for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who he said could “wake up dead.”

“To the people of Iran, help is on the way,” the Palmetto State senator said, reacting to the Iranian regime’s brutal crackdown on protests.

“He’s not turning his back on the people of Iran who are demanding that their oppression end. And to the ayatollah and his thugs, if you keep killing your people in defiance of President Trump, you’re gonna wake up dead. Iran is on the verge of falling,” Graham said.

Trump has insisted that he prefers a diplomatic solution, but made it clear that Iran cannot be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon.

“I will never allow the world’s top sponsor of terror, which they are by far, have a nuclear weapon; can’t let that happen,” the president said during Tuesday’s State of the Union address.
