Secret Service agent faulted for nearly getting Trump killed suspended again over Brazilian lesbian secrecy

A female Secret Service agent whose failure to properly do her job nearly got President Donald J. Trump killed by a would-be assassin has been suspended by the agency.

According to a report from Real Clear Politics, Myosoty “Miyo” Perez was suspended and is now under internal investigation for the alleged improper reporting of “her relationship with and eventual marriage to a foreign national,” a Brazilian lesbian.

The suspension is the third in a year and a half for Perez, who was the “site agent” for the July 13, 2024, campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump nearly had his head blown off by Thomas Crooks, only surviving because he miraculously turned his head at the right moment.

As the site agent, Perez was responsible for the planning and execution of the security plan for the site. But somehow, Crooks was able to gain access to the roof of the American Glass Building with a clear line of sight to the stage.

It was an inexplicable failure by the Secret Service that nearly ended with Trump’s assassination and cost retired firefighter Corey Comperatore, who was sitting behind the president, his life. Two other members of the audience were also hit by gunfire.

According to RCP’s Susan Crabtree: “Over the last year and a half, in the wake of the assassination attempts, Perez has remained an agent, though she has faced ongoing leadership scrutiny. She was supposed to be sidelined from protective duties and working on criminal investigations only, although Secret Service supervisors in the Miami Field Office, where she works, recently allowed her to violate an understanding with others in the Trump administration that she wouldn’t serve in a physical security role.”

“Despite the ongoing congressional investigations and internal Secret Service review of her role in the Butler failures, Perez quietly married a Brazilian foreign national last April without notifying the agency, according to a copy of her marriage certificate located on the Brevard County public records website and according to sources familiar with the timing of when she informed the agency of her marriage. Upon learning of the marriage, the agency suspended her and issued an internal ‘Do Not Admit” notice,’ Crabtree reported.

“The internal Secret Service investigation is examining whether the woman Perez was dating and married last year had overstayed her visa and was facing a deportation order,” the report says, citing multiple unnamed sources “familiar with the matter.”

Perez was previously suspended last year for talking to a reporter about her role at Butler without agency consent and was one of six SS agents who were suspended without pay for their connection to the fateful rally.

RCP’s report quotes former long-time Secret Service and DHS official Rich Staropoli, who asks: “How does a Secret Service agent not properly report a relationship with a foreign national that could be an illegal alien, let alone marry her and then not report the marriage?”

“It speaks to the sad state of affairs of the Secret Service in recent years and who they’re hiring,” he said.
