Sen. Josh Hawley calls for Hillary Clinton to be prosecuted, consequences for FBI

The long-awaited release of Special Counsel John Durham’s final report into the origins of the Russia collusion hoax may have contained few surprises but it confirmed that Hillary Clinton’s fingerprints were all over the destructive scam and Senator Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) called for her prosecution.

Hawley appeared on Monday night’s edition of “Jesse Watters Primetime” on Fox News where he discussed Mrs. Clinton’s now-confirmed role in the cooked-up scandal that, with the help of the FBI, was deployed against her opponent in the 2016 election, billionaire real estate mogul and celebrity television personality Donald J. Trump, who would go on to spring the upset of the century on the entitled former first lady only to spend years being persecuted over the falsehood that he was in cahoots with the Kremlin.

“There needs to be a lot more than reports,” Hawley told Watters. “People need to be prosecuted for this. The Clinton campaign and Hillary Clinton herself. Is it any coincidence that she is tweeting about collusion at exactly the same time her campaign operatives are feeding this B.S. to the FBI? I don’t think so. There needs to be consequences for her and also for the FBI.”

“FBI leadership has clearly got to be changed,” he added, calling for a housecleaning at the Bureau, “And, Jesse, I’m of the mind we need to end the FBI as we know it. It needs to be broken up. I mean, clearly it has become corrupt. The leadership is corrupt. You can talk to FBI agents in the field. I was just doing this just this past week. Great folks in my home state all over the place, but they’re not served by this leadership. This leadership has become totally radically politicized, and we’ve got to change it.”

“We’ve got to get justice here, and justice needs to be served. You can’t interfere in a presidential election without consequences, at least you couldn’t, you used to not be able to in America. And that’s what happened here,” Hawley added.

“That’s what this report shows. That one political party, the Democrats, tried to use the FBI to rig a presidential election and just about got away with it. They succeeded in getting the FBI to intervene. They succeeded in getting the FBI to lie to a court to get wiretaps. They succeeded in getting a presidential campaign Donald Trump’s campaign spied on,” he said. “I mean, it’s amazing. If there’s something like this in American history, I don’t know what it is. And that’s why I say there needs to be prosecutions. There needs to be accountability. And the FBI has got to be overhauled now, top to bottom. It’s got to be completely reformed. It cannot go on like it is.”

The failed Democrat presidential candidate stirred the pot the entire time that the hoax was being used to neuter Trump during his presidency, either openly or by insinuation claiming that the only reason why Trump yanked the rug out from under her in 2016 was because of Putin.

Now that it’s official that the entire thing was a big lie, many are now asking when there will be an accountability moment, including legendary conservative actor James Woods.

“The Russia hoax was substantially no different than Watergate. Democrat propagandists masquerading as mainstream news will sweep this under the rug by the weekend, while Hollywood will ride the Watergate pony for yet another half century,” he tweeted on Monday. “When will the hearings start?”

“Some of these people who did this with Hillary Clinton are in government now,” Hawley told Watters. “Jake Sullivan, national security advisor, he’s in government now. He cooked this up with Clinton. There needs to be repercussions for that.”
