It was a two-liars-for-the-price-of-one special on CNN when Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) sat down with anchor Jake Tapper to chew the fat over a litany of hoaxes.
Looking to bounce back from losing the White House to Donald J. Trump after his network relentlessly shilled for Kamala Harris, Tapper was up to his old tricks with his good friend who once again flogged the big lie of Russiagate and insisted that Trump is going to sic the military on him.
Schiff, who Californians just rewarded for his lies by electing him to the U.S. Senate, was not only permitted to lie with impunity, but the whiny activist anchor set him up for one of his whoppers by rolling a clip from Trump’s interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo last month when he referred to the serial liar and Nancy Pelosi as the “enemy within.”

Trump’s remarks were grossly distorted by the media to falsely claim he would unleash the troops on political foes and the Big Lie was given new life by Tapper on Sunday’s edition of “State of the Union” where he hosted Schiff.
“Do you think that he was talking about using the military against you?” Tapper shamelessly asked, jabbing his index finger in his guest’s direction. “And how concerned are you about retribution?”
“Clearly, that’s what he was talking about,” Schiff responded after being perfectly set up. “Would he go to that length with the military and essentially fulfill some kind of an unconstitutional order? I would hope the military would have more independence than that. Historically, the military has stood up to civilian authority where civilian authority has suggested, as in his first administration, unconstitutional acts.”
“Look, I’m not going to be intimidated by anything he says by anything he does,” he continued. “If I was, I wouldn’t be on your show. I’m going to do my responsibility in the Senate. Californians are expecting me, first and foremost, to try to work and get things done, work across the aisle where the president wants to fight prices, I will work with him. But where the president wants to engage in unconstitutional abuses of power, just as he did in the first administration, I will defend our state. I will defend the rights and freedom of the American people.”
“So, yeah, that’s what he said. That’s what he may try to do. But I’m not going to be intimidated,” Schiff said, before turning once again, to a hoax that has been debunked more times than the “very fine people on both sides” lie.

It’s already obvious that the media after being thoroughly rejected by the American people in the election isn’t going to do a thing to change the behavior of the self-proclaimed “most trusted name in news.” They are going to quadruple down on fake news and keep trotting out serial liars like Schiff to launder his conspiracy theories.
