Sgt. Dakota Meyer, a Medal of Honor recipient, joins forces with popular brand to protect women’s sports

Sgt. Dakota Meyer, a Medal of Honor recipient, has joined forces with XX-XY Athletics to protect women’s sports.

The “Ultimate Girl Dad” ambassador is the proud father of two daughters and issued a strong statement to other men who are not interested in protecting the sanctity of women-only spaces like sports teams.

“Weak men are rewriting the truth. Real men stand up to protect it. Women aren’t weak — they’re sacred. They shouldn’t be protected out of pity, but out of value. Men must honor women, not control them, not silence them, but stand with them,” he said in a statement provided to Fox News Digital. “This isn’t just a brand. It’s a line in the sand. XX-XY Athletics builds high-quality gear, but more importantly, it builds belief — belief that strength isn’t toxic, it’s necessary. That masculinity and femininity are both sacred. That our wives, daughters, and sisters should never have to fight this battle alone.”

The brand aims to fight against the acceptance of biological males playing against biological females using claims of being “transgender.” Founded by former Team USA Olympic gymnast Jennifer Sey, XX-XY Athletics sells quality athletic merchandise with the aim of raising money for women’s sports.

“We support organizations that fight for safety, privacy and fairness for women. We donate to Icons Women and other organizations, including our own XX-XY Athletics Fund, which supports brave athletes who speak up in defense of women’s sports,” reads a portion of their website regarding the allocation of donated money.

“The Ultimate Girl Dad isn’t a slogan. It’s the standard. It’s about being strong enough physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually to protect and provide for the women God entrusted you to lead. God didn’t give women to men as property. He gave them a purpose. Anything that creates and carries life is sacred, and men have a duty to honor and protect that,” he wrote. “Strength is the foundation of courage. Weakness is the seed of fear. Proud to stand with [XX-XY Athletics] as the Ultimate Girl Dad defending truth, fairness, and what’s sacred.”

Meyer’s has a collection of clothing on the website, including shirts and hats with slogans like “Save women’s sports” and “girl dad.”

“Dakota is the ultimate girl dad, strong for his daughters and his country. He embodies the kind of moral courage that’s desperately needed in our culture today,” Sey noted in a statement about the partnership. “He’s a Marine, a father, and a leader who believes in protecting what’s sacred — and that includes women’s sports. Dakota believes that women and girls deserve privacy, safety and fairness and he’s not afraid to say it. We’re honored to have him join XX-XY Athletics as a champion for truth and for women.”
