President Donald J. Trump isn’t backing off on his criticism of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), blistering the foreign-born congresswoman while weighing in on the Somali fraud scandal that her Minnesota district has been a breeding ground for.
While speaking at a Friday event in Rocky Mount, N.C., the leader of the free world brought up the increasingly widening scope of the theft of taxpayer money that has taken place under the nose of Minnesota’s Democrat Gov. Tim Walz and the “Squad” member who has become an increasingly frequent target for Trump.
.@POTUS: How about the new thing in Minnesota with the Somalians? They stole $9 BILLION — and they think that’s just the beginning. @IlhanMN should be sent out of our country. She should not be allowed to be a Congresswoman. She married her brother! pic.twitter.com/k1eK97A7wm

“Ilhan Omar should be sent out of our country…she should not be allowed to be a congresswoman,” the president said to cheers from the crowd.
“She married her brother, either to stay or to get him into the country,” Trump continued, bringing attention to Omar’s claim that her son was pulled over by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents who demanded proof of his citizenship.
“She, I guess, made up a story, she said the police attacked her son. They stopped the car, and the police said we never attacked him, we never stopped him, it was a made-up story,” he told the crowd.
“She’s a con-person,” Trump said, adding, “you ought to get her the hell out of our country,” as the audience showed its approval for deporting the hijab-swaddled Democrat.
“She made up a story that the police stopped her son’s car and they harassed the hell out of him, it turned out to be a fake story,” he said.
“Yesterday, after he made a stop at Target, he did get pulled over by ICE agents,” Omar told news outlet WCCO-TV last week, offering zero proof to back up her explosive claim.
Omar’s story was spread by the media despite it having never happened, at least according to federal authorities.
🚨 DEVELOPING: DHS tells me ICE has no record of pulling over Rep. Ilhan Omar’s son in Minnesota
Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons: “ICE has absolutely ZERO record of its officers or agents pulling over Congresswoman Omar’s son. It speaks volumes that Congresswoman Omar is… pic.twitter.com/ADiII1LWDw

“ICE has absolutely ZERO record of its officers or agents pulling over Congresswoman Omar’s son,” acting ICE Director Todd Lyons said in a statement. “It speaks volumes that Congresswoman Omar is leveling this accusation with absolutely zero proof.”
Trump’s remarks echoed those that he made about Omar during a rally in Pennsylvania earlier this month.
TRUMP: “I love this Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is, with the little turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but bitch. She’s always complaining.”
“We oughtta get her the hell out! She married her brother in order to get in!” pic.twitter.com/JI5FWK2hoo

“I love this Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is, with the little turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but b-tch. She’s always complaining. She comes from her country, where, I mean, it’s considered about the worst country in the world, right?” Trump said.
“We oughta get her the hell out. She married her brother in order to get in, right? She married her brother. Can you imagine if Donald Trump married his sister?” he asked the crowd. “Beautiful. She’s a beautiful person. If I married my sister to get my citizenship, do you think I’d last for about two hours? Or would it be something less than that? She married her brother to get in. Therefore, she’s here illegally. She should get the hell out. Throw her the hell out. She does nothing but complain.”
Last month, Trump triggered the left when he branded Omar and her fellow Somalis as “garbage” who should “go back to where they came from and fix it.”
