Republican strategists who know former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem suspect she may have been the one who outed her husband.
As previously reported, Noem’s husband, Bryon, is a cross-dressing freak who poses in photos while wearing giant fake breasts and women’s leggings, and who has a “bimbofication” fetish.

He was outed this week by the Daily Mail, though the Mail’s sources remain unknown. Some, nevertheless, have theories.
“I do think she could have leaked it,” one Republican strategist who knows Noem told the New York Post, suggesting that Noem purposefully leaked her husband’s activities to the Daily Mail.
Why would she do such a thing? Allegedly to initiate a comeback tour for herself and her adviser, Corey Lewandowski, with whom she’s believed to be having an affair.
Recall that she was recently demoted by President Donald Trump on account of her poor performance as DHS chief.
“I can’t help but think that Corey Lewandowski is trying to divert attention away from one scandal and set the stage for the Secretary to get a divorce and them to live happily ever after,” another source told the Post.
One source said maybe Noem is trying to re-earn the public’s sympathy, though he had doubts about her strategy.
“I’m not sure that the ‘My husband is a cross-dresser with a freaky fetish’ card is enough to garner the needed empathy,” the source said. “Although I’d be lying if I didn’t say this would be a great story for the next ‘Love Story’ series.”

There’s also a theory that the former DHS secretary is gunning for the White House and wants to first repair her tarnished public image. It wouldn’t be the first time.
“The former South Dakota governor’s aspiration for the highest office in the land goes back years and has an unlikely starting point: Kanye West,” according to the Post. “The rapper called Noem personally to ask her to be his 2020 running-mate for his independent run. And Lewandowski pushed her to say yes.”
Others say this plan could backfire as it did with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who lost the 2016 presidential election after trying desperately to rehab her image.
“The chicken has officially flown the coop on Kristi Noem ever being able to rehabilitate her reputation after this,” one insider said, adding that her “original sin” was the affair with Lewandowski, a man hated by many within the Republican Party.
“It’s not that she cheated on her husband and in such a public fashion, but she did it with someone who is universally reviled,” the source said.
“You have Noem on a plane with Corey Lewandowski doing glamour shots in front of prisoners at CECOT, and then meanwhile Bryon is at home putting in the big magnificent bazoombas to pay women to talk to him.”

Meanwhile, national Security experts told the Daily Mail that her husband’s weird behavior constitutes a risk for Noem, who has been downgraded from leading DHS to serving as a special envoy for the Shield of the Americas.
“If a media organization can find this out, you can assume with a high degree of confidence that a hostile intelligence service knows this as well,” former CIA officer Marc Polymeropoulos warned.
It doesn’t help that Bryon reportedly sent his online contacts money even as his wife was running DHS.
“Texts and WhatsApp messages reveal that Bryon was being repeatedly asked for money during the 14 months Noem led the nation’s largest federal law enforcement agency,” the Daily Mail reported.
“He sent his secret roster of online acquaintances at least $25,000 via Cash App and PayPal, but when the payments were delayed or failed to materialize, the chats would quickly turn sour,” the report continued.
Jack Barsky, a former Soviet spy turned US counterintelligence asset, was stunned by this finding.
“It’s astounding that somebody whose spouse is at that level has that kind of bad judgment,” he said.
Polymeropoulos concurred.
“Damaging information like this can be a tantalizing lead for a hostile intelligence service,” he said. “They approach the person and say, ‘ If you work with us, we won’t expose this, and if you don’t, we will.’ That’s espionage 101.”
