Democrats are so opposed to everything President Donald Trump does that they are apparently willing to applaud America’s enemies.
Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Connecticut, is under fire for appearing to support an Iranian fleet breaking through the United States blockade. He shared an article on X titled “At least 26 Iranian shadow fleet vessels bypass US blockade,” which he simply captioned with “awesome.”

The article claims that, contrary to United States military claims that it has “turned around over 20 vessels and ‘completely halted’ Iranian trade, Lloyd’s List Intelligence shows a steady flow of shadow fleet traffic in and out of the Middle East Gulf.”
He later attempted to clarify what he meant by his comment, claiming it was “sarcasm”:
