The first woman on the list is Ellen Shell, 28, of Danville, Kentucky. She was arraigned in Garrard County District Court on Thursday. Shell was charged with third-degree rape.
She is accused of having “sexual intercourse on three occasions with two 16-year-old boys,” according to a criminal complaint filed in her case. The complaint states the alleged incidents happened between July 6 and August 15 of last year.
Shell was a teacher’s aide at Woodlawn Elementary School. Prior to that, she worked at Lancaster Elementary School, according to WTKR.
After she was arrested, Boyle County School officials sent a letter to parents informing them of the incident. Shell has been placed on administrative leave pending the findings in her case.
Next up is Arkansas educator Heather Hare, 32. She turned herself in on Friday following an alleged sexual relationship with a teen student and is now facing first-degree felony assault, according to the Arkansas Times.

Hare resigned on April 1 from Bryant Public Schools. She is currently free on a $15,000 bond.
Oklahoma teacher Emily Hancock, 26, was taken into custody on Thursday after police received a tip that she was having a relationship with a student. She is a former substitute teacher with Wellston Public Schools.
Hancock allegedly began communicating with the student in question last October. That led to her allegedly sending the 15-year-old nude photos, according to KOCO. The relationship is said to have become physical in November.
The two wound up reportedly having sex in a school building after talking to one another on Snapchat.

Kristen Gantt, 36, who was an English teacher at a Catholic high school in Des Moines, Iowa, was also arrested on Friday for allegedly having sex with a student five times inside and outside her school, according to local reports.
Investigators contend that Gantt groomed the student over social media. Surveillance cameras are said to have caught the two going into a classroom alone with a papered-over window to have sex.
The teacher was fired by the school and is now facing felony counts of sexual exploitation.
