Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor went off after a Monday ruling didn’t go her way when the justices lifted a lower court judge’s block on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents making stops in Los Angeles without reasonable suspicion.
In the 6-3 ruling that will allow ICE to resume its raids which advocacy groups claimed were being carried out using “blatant racial profiling,” the conservative majority lifted restrictions that were imposed by U.S. District Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong in July when the Biden appointee sided with Los Angeles Democrat Mayor Karen Bass, the ACLU and other groups, a ruling that was celebrated at the time as a win against President Donald J. Trump’s deportation policies.

Unloading in a dissent that was dripping with emotion but light on legal reasoning, the “wise Latina” raged against her colleagues, calling the ruling “unconscionably irreconcilable with our Nation’s constitutional guarantees.”
“That decision is yet another grave misuse of our emergency docket,” Sotomayor wrote. “We should not have to live in a country where the Government can seize anyone who looks Latino, speaks Spanish, and appears to work a low-wage job. Rather than stand idly by while our constitutional freedoms are lost, I dissent.”
Sotomayor fundamentally has no idea what the actual job of a judge is. It’s 100% legal for immigration officials to question suspected illegal aliens. Her job is to interpret that as law but instead she spends her time writing about what she wishes the law said. pic.twitter.com/64OsMRKZLV

She was joined by the other two leftist women, fellow Obama appointee Elena Kagan and Biden DEI chatterbox Ketanji Brown Jackson, whose own tendency to go off in her opinions has become a major embarrassment to the nation’s highest court, which has traditionally prided itself on practicing sober decorum over political rants more befitting of a faculty lounge.
The ruling came after the Trump administration appealed for emergency intervention to overrule another unelected lower court activist seeking to usurp the power of the presidency and thwart the will of the American people by intervening to block ICE raids at Home Depot stores and other locations frequented by illegal aliens.

Once again, Sotomayor has no idea what her actual job is.
It’s not to pontificate on wants. It’s to interpret the law. That’s it. https://t.co/B3c4l3qAAt

She appears to be basing her decisions on “emotions” rather than law

Feelings are not facts. Her fee fees are moot.

The Supreme Court is not The View. Sotomayor is a better fit for The View. She might actually make more money. Please resign and join The View. https://t.co/rYkAwERxIA

All points bulletin: An older, rather unpleasant looking Latino has been spotted in the DC area making trouble, last seen wearing a dark robe, professing something about being “wise,” who may or may not be in the country illegally.

Her and KBJ are completely unfit and incapable of serving.
They should be forcefully removed from the bench.

The liberal justices will never let the Constitution get in the way of the leftist agenda.

The “wise Latina” who should have never been on the bench.

“A win for the safety of Californians and the rule of law,” a DHS spokesperson said in a statement, according to Fox News. “DHS law enforcement will not be slowed down and will continue to arrest and remove the murderers, rapists, gang members, and other criminal illegal aliens that Karen Bass continues to give safe harbor.”
“In a 6-3 decision, the Court stayed an injunction that attempted to hamper ICE operations across the Los Angeles area. Now, ICE can continue carrying out roving patrols in California without judicial micromanagement,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a post to X. “We will continue fighting and winning for @POTUS agenda in court.”
