Sparks fly on ‘The Five’ as Jessica Tarlov goes to bat for Hunter Biden, pulls Roger Stone in

Sparks flew on Tuesday’s edition of “The Five” as the Fox News co-hosts mixed it up over the Justice Department’s predictable sweetheart deal with Hunter Biden that only further confirmed that there are two systems of justice that exist in America today.

Earlier in the day, the news broke that President Joe Biden’s son had agreed to a plea deal on two misdemeanor tax counts and a separate gun charge that will be dropped if he complies with the conditions of a diversion program, allowing him to skate without spending a minute behind bars.

The Fox News crew engaged in a discussion about how Hunter Biden received preferential treatment while a Republican would have never had a chance of winning what amounted to a “get out of jail free” card and would have had the book thrown at them by the politicized DOJ for similar offenses.

Loopy liberal co-host Jessica Tarlov engaged in a bit of whataboutism to support her assertion that the crooked, crack-huffing, sex-fiend child of privilege did not receive special treatment and tossed out the name of longtime GOP operative Roger Stone as an example.

“So to try to tackle all the points that everybody made, which were aplenty,” Tarlov began. “So what Hunter is not guilty of is being a Republican, but there’s a Republican very closely allied with Trump named Roger Stone, who did worse than Hunter Biden.”

“So he tax-evaded $2 million, not 1.2 million, $2 million. And guess what happened? He was allowed to pay it back and he wasn’t even criminally charged. Hunter Biden, criminally charged, could face probation. Roger Stone, top guy to Donald Trump, skates free on that,” she said.

“Didn’t they raid his house?” Jesse Watters asked, referring to the 2019 pre-dawn raid on Stone’s Fort Lauderdale home by heavily armed federal agents, an appalling abuse of power that was aired live on CNN after someone tipped the network off.

Tarlov then defended the Justice Department’s not sending the younger Biden to jail on the gun charge.

“In 2019, there were 298 cases brought of people falsifying their gun application records out of 27 million background checks that were completed,” she said, invoking Justice Department statistics.

“That’s the year that Hunter Biden got that weapon. That means that this is something that doesn’t get charged,” Tarlove continued, “If you want to say to the DOJ, you should be charging on this, go ahead and do that. But there’s no reason that Hunter Biden should be the exception to this.”

“In terms of David Weiss, who you say was hand-selected by the Democrats,” she said of the federal prosecutor who investigated Hunter Biden, “Donald Trump said he’s someone who shares his vision for making America safe again. That is a quote from Donald Trump.”

Tarlov and Watters then went back and forth before Jeanine Pirro jumped in.

“Well, how do you feel about the fact that that gun ended up in a garbage can right near a school?” Pirro asked as the two exchanged words before the heated segment came to a close.
