Splitsville? Kamala’s marriage goes south, reportedly, blames hubby for loss; insider spills on Obamas

Former Vice President Kamala Harris’ marriage is allegedly in turmoil, in part because she reportedly blames her husband Doug Emhoff for her 2024 election loss.

“Doug did Kamala no favors during the election – frankly, he looked like a hypocritical ass after the bombshells that he had got his child’s nanny pregnant while married to his first wife and assaulted his ex-girlfriend on the heels of his ‘I am woman’ crusade,” a source told the Daily Mail.

As previously reported, Emhoff has been credibly accused of abusive behavior toward women, though Harris has yet to once address any of these credible allegations, in part because of the media.

When she appeared on Fox News in October, host Bret Baier didn’t hit her with a single question about the allegation.

“We’ve heard Kamala’s canned answers on everything else ad nauseam,” Daily Mail columnist Maureen Callahan wrote at the time. “But when it comes to a multi-sourced claim that in May 2012, Doug Emhoff hit his then-girlfriend in the face so hard that she spun around — in full view of a valet line outside an A-list gala in France — Harris apparently has nothing to answer for.”

Apparently so…

The tabloid’s source went on to speculate that everything isn’t so swell between Harris and her husband despite outward appearances.

“I see the signs that all is not hunky dory in the Harris household,” the source said. “It’s not like she hasn’t had men help further her political career before. But what does Doug do for her now?”

Just cause 99 problems?

As for Harris’ future, those close to her believe she won’t run for California governor but will instead wait to run for president again in 2028.

“I was with her last week when she was signing her desk,” her former communications chief, Ashley Etienne, told the Daily Mail. “She told me: ‘You know me well enough to know that I’m not going to go away quietly.'”

Meanwhile, in separate but related love news, speculation is now also running high about the relationship between former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle.

“I have been hearing this rumor that the Obamas are getting a divorce by reputable people,” Meghan McCain said during a podcast interview this week. “I’m not talking about TMZ. I’m not talking about Perez Hilton. I’m talking about like very serious journalists telling me that they’re hearing that the Obama divorce rumors are true.”

The interviewer, Tara Palmieri of Puck News, responded by admitting to having heard similar things.

“We’ve heard that for a long time, like I just heard that they live separate lives,” she said.

The two then discussed the following photo that Obama uploaded to the Internet in honor of his wife’s birthday:

“I would kill Ben [her husband] if he put a picture of me looking like no makeup with that lighting on social media,” McCain said of the photo. “I would kill him. So for me, it didn’t help the rumors, and like, why are you putting this like, shitty picture of your wife up?”

Palmieri responded by noting that since the Obamas are no longer involved in politics, especially now that former President Joe Biden is gone, this is a perfect opportunity for Obamas to completely drop Washington, D.C., from their lives.

“I am not at home with them, but it’s not really surprising at this phase of their life and she clearly has very little interest – she’s always hated politics! She did not really like being first lady,” Palmieri said.

Indeed, Michelle not only skipped President Donald Trump’s inauguration but also former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral.

The last time the Obamas were seen together was reportedly in mid-December when they had dinner together in Los Angeles.
