As if any more proof was needed that House Democrats are a clownish collection of immature, maladaptive mutants and misfits, it was offered up by Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) on Saturday as tensions were running high over a stopgap funding bill.
Bowman, a ticking human time bomb with a history of menacing his colleagues, pulled a fire alarm in what was widely seen as an effort to derail the frantic last-minute efforts of GOP Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to keep the federal government open for business — the self-avowed socialist claimed otherwise.

The volatile male member of “The Squad,” the expanding cadre of ultra-left Democrats who orbit socialist diva Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), was caught on surveillance cameras as he pulled the alarm in the Cannon House Office Building, not only an action completely unbecoming of an elected official but also a crime which Bowman later tried to lie about by telling reporters that he was just trying to open a door.
Capitol Police released a picture that removes any doubt that may have existed of who the culprit was and an investigation is underway.

In a statement to Axios, Bowman’s spokesperson said that the combustible congressman “did not realize he would trigger a building alarm as he was rushing to make an urgent vote.”
“I was trying to get to a door. I thought the alarm would open the door and I pulled the fire alarm to open the door by accident,” Bowman told members of the press on Saturday. “I was just trying to get to my vote and the door that’s usually open wasn’t open, it was closed.”
McCarthy expressed his disgust with the latest in a long line of juvenile antics by the cartoonish congresswoman’s “Squad” whose juvenile antics and smack-talking far exceed their actual legislative accomplishments.
“I was really appalled watching Democrats’ actions today, to delay it, to get to a shutdown,” he told reporters. “But when we found that an individual elected to Congress would pull a fire alarm, that’s a new low.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) who was physically intimidated by Bowman called for Biden’s Justice Department to prosecute him on the same charges used against J6 protesters.
