Starbucks sacks employee after customer orders Charlie Kirk’s favorite, gets cup with vile message

An Ohio woman who dropped by Starbucks to enjoy a mint majesty with two honeys, Charlie Kirk’s favorite, was shocked when her order came with a vile message written on the cup, smearing the slain Turning Point USA founder.

Middletown resident Autumn Perkins placed her order at a Starbucks located inside the Kroger grocery store on Towne Blvd., only to receive it with “racist’s fav drink” scrawled on the side of her cup, a sick and malicious political statement by a now-former employee.

“The girl at Starbucks thought she was cute. I don’t even support Starbucks bc of everything they stand for starting with their satanic logo, but I support Charlie Kirk so I thought you know what…I’ll get his drink,” Perkins said in a Facebook post in which she shared a picture of the cup with the hateful message.

“Thank you Starbucks for proving to me exactly why I prefer to support my small local Christian owned and operated coffee shop. Well done,” Perkins added.

Perkins spoke to the manager about the hateful message, learning that the worker fessed up and has been fired. “It’s time for people to stop this nonsense,” she told Fox News Digital.

“I would agree that people should be fired if they’re doing something like this,” she said, adding that “actions have repercussions.”

“I feel like Charlie stood for respect — we don’t have to agree on everything. We can disagree on a lot of things, but we respect each other,” Perkins continued. “We can’t communicate and grow if we’re disrespecting each other.”

“I want everyone to know that I just received a phone call from a manger for Kroger and the employee was terminated this morning. Between last night and this morning I have had several Kroger employees reach out to me and they took this very seriously. As a long time customer of this particular Kroger location I am pleased with the way they quickly reacted and responded. Thank you Kroger for doing what was right. I appreciate you just as you have shown that you appreciate me,” she said in an update to Facebook.

“Writing this on a cup is unacceptable, and we have clear policies that prohibit negative messages to help preserve a welcoming environment. This Starbucks location is licensed and operated by Kroger. We understand that this associate was terminated by Kroger,” Starbucks said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“We believe handwritten notes on our cups are a meaningful way for our baristas to connect with customers. We have clear policies that prohibit political slogans or negative messages to help preserve a welcoming environment. In the event we receive a report that a message doesn’t comply with our policy, we carefully review each case. We know that neither we nor our customers get it right every time,” the company states on its website.

“I don’t intend to spend another penny at Starbucks — and as far as I’m concerned, neither will my children or anybody else in my family who will listen to me,” Perkins said.
