Stephanopoulos reports Trump is trying to ‘subvert’ midterms. Sound familiar?

In case you needed any more reason to hate the mainstream media, this might just do it for you.

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order that “directs the U.S. Postal Service to send ballots only to eligible voters on a list provided by the Department of Homeland Security with help from the Social Security Administration,” The Hill reports. These ballots would come with envelopes with unique barcodes to be used for tracking. Any state that would not comply with this EO would have federal funding withheld, but blue states have immediately taken to the courts to fight this order.

It didn’t take long for ABC News‘s George Stephanopoulos to get on TV and destroy any illusion that mainstream media reporting is supposed to be unbiased.

Watch:

“President Trump signing an executive order to limit mail-in voting, his latest move to subvert the midterms, sow doubt about the results, as his party faces political headwinds,” he said.

Wait a minute, that sounds awfully familiar, doesn’t it?

Last week, BizPac Review reported on Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-California, saying something incredibly similar during her interview with MS NOW’s Senior Capitol Hill Correspondent Ali Vitali.

Watch:

“There are so many things that you can do to protect the election, and they are being done, whether it’s litigation or legislation or just mobilization, communication, all of that. But in addition to that, we have to be on guard as to what they may try to do to the technology. They may try to creep into the technology and create a false count,” Pelosi said, adding that she believes Republicans have “no commitment to the rule of law and doing things the appropriate way.”

“We have three purposes now. One is to win the midterm. Two is to make sure the elections are safe. And three, tell people what we will do when we win. That is the mission,” she continued.
