Stephen A. Smith is naming and shaming the Democratic Party members who refuse to come on his show, and revealed how many Republicans have turned him down.
Smith’s podcast, Straight Shooter, extends invitations to guests across the political spectrum, inviting them on to face questions that other political media may not ask. However, it seems that Democrats have a problem facing the music, according to Smith. During a recent episode, he revealed which leftist politicians have been ducking his invitations.

NEW: Stephen A. Smith *CALLS OUT* Dems ducking his show — says “EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN” he’s invited has come on or plans to

“Jasmine Crockett has been invited on this show, four months. AOC has been invited on this show, four months. Gavin Newsom has been invited on this show, longer than that,” Smith said. “Props to Hakeem Jeffries, he’s a friend of the show, always welcome on here. I like that man. I respect him. Chuck Schumer’s been invited on this show, hasn’t shown up.”
“Where they at? Every single Republican I have asked to show up on this show has either said yes or that they’re coming. Not the Dems. Why?” he asked.
X users had a lot to say:
This is a trend. Dems don’t show up to shows that are unscripted, well except for @SenFettermanPA .

Because they know Stephen will ask hard questions. They only go on friendly media.

They know Smith won’t give them a free ride. He’s gonna be asking questions and questioning the answers. The Dems are happy with appearing on MSNBC.

He knows. They don’t want to be on the record for the state they left the country in or policy. They just want to go on any platform and bash Trump

They’re starting to be afraid to go on CNN. They avoid places that won’t just go along with their narrative and let them read their talking points. They even avoid @billmaher

I like Stephen A, but why would they legitimize his show as a credible political forum? It’d also just be a waste of people’s time. Stephen A just gon bring out the kid gloves once he’s infront of someone. He’ll have one decent question and shake his head yes at every response.

Because they know you are a closet Republican.

Kinda pathetic when youtubers do this “why won’t [public figure] give me, specifically, more ad revenue?” thing.
