Steve Bannon is publicly stating his displeasure with President Donald Trump’s choice to endorse Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Bannon, a former presidential advisor now a pro-MAGA podcaster, said he is “not wild about” Trump supporting Netanyahu in the upcoming election on Sunday. In a Truth Social post, the president lavished “Bibi” with praise before giving his “complete and total endorsement.”

Bibi Netanyahu has been a Great Warrior Prime Minister, and an even greater Partner for Peace in combatting the Islamic Republic of Iran, with its 51 year old chant, “Death to Israel, Death to America! We will destroy the Little Satan and the Big Satan.” What Country can survive when things such as this are allowed to be said, because eventually, they always end up being true? It would have been only a question of time until Iran would have put that ominous phrase into effect, but they have been systematically destroyed, both Militarily and Financially, and unless they change their ways, rapidly, we will soon finish the job. If Israel has the wrong Leader, which would be anyone other than Bibi, America will have to do this work ourselves, and I am not inclined to do so. Bibi Netanyahu has been Strong, Brave, and Brilliant in the face of tremendous opposition, including that coming from even Israel, itself. Normal men or women in such situations would have wilted under the pressure — But Bibi did not wilt, he actually got stronger, and maintains that same Strength today. This is the kind of Partner that the United States of America is demanding of Israel, a Country for which it has done so much. The Netanyahu gov’t has refused to allow that to happen.
I oppose the U.S. continuing to give Israel weapons and money. They can stand on their own.
But if we’re going to continue doing that, we need to have a massive investigation of our own.

“An endorsement by President Trump that, as you can imagine, in the War Room, we were not wild about. He endorsed, wholeheartedly, Netanyahu over the weekend, and I take a very different take on Netanyahu. One of the things we’ve been pushing here is: where is the investigation of the October 7th situation?” he asked. “I think we’re the only show that’s had on, or certainly the only conservative show that had on, brother [Yaakov] Katz, from former managing editor of the Jerusalem Post, over a year ago when his book came out, Why Israel Slept. And that book is so disturbing. That is from unclassified sources. Now, he went and did a tremendous amount of research, but, like he was, and we had him on the show twice, he was pretty adamant that, hey, he couldn’t get into the classified part of it because it was classified information.”
“But as I said at the time, I said, this thing’s so disturbing, when are we gonna see an actual investigation by the Israeli government, or Israeli citizens with the government, or however you wanna do it? At this time in World War II, after Pearl Harbor, I think there have been five or six, and we were fighting a thing called World War Two on two fronts. So you can do two things at the same time. And the Netanyahu government has refused to allow that to happen. I’m a big advocate now that the US government continue to give weapons and money to the Israel government, which I oppose, because I think they can stand up on their own. If we’re gonna continue to do that, we need to have a massive investigation of our own,” Bannon added.
