The “vicious attacks” against a philanthropist over her appearance found her husband hitting back with examples of winning over whining.
Time and again, those suffering from terminal cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome have proven themselves incapable of even acknowledging positive efforts from the administration. This has revealed the ugliness of many and the good of others, the latter of which remained the focus of billionaire Michael Dell as he emphasized the positive in response to social media trolls insulting the looks of his wife, Susan.
The launch of Trump Accounts found the Dells spearheading investments in the future of America’s children with their own $6.25 billion donation intended to contribute toward 25 million kids. Instead of recognizing the gift, many zeroed in on the appearance and demeanor of the tech founder’s 62-year-old wife, prompting stern rebukes online.
After commentator Mike Cernovich remarked on the sizable donation from the Dells and how, “instead of gratitude, there’s much discussion of a 62 year old woman’s looks,” an X account responded, “It’s truly insane how evil and full of themselves people are.”
“I signed my kids up and wasn’t expecting to get anything as we live in a wealthy county and city. Out of the blue $250 showed up from Dell for both of my boys. I will go out of my way to support them now, who else has done what they did? No one…” continued the post shared by Dell with prayer hands and a salute emoji.

While the businessman went on to share numerous heartwarming examples of gratitude that have made it to his desk, including letters and drawings from the very kids he set out to help, President Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump, also saw fit to call out detractors.
In response to a photo comparison dubbed “The MAGA Effect,” that set a picture of Susan Dell from years ago beside a current image of the lifelong athlete and Bush-era member of the Council for Physical Fitness and Sports, the younger Trump wrote, “People are awful. Susan and Michael Dell just put $6.25 billion into Trump Accounts for 25 million kids so they’ll have something waiting for them when they grow up–one of, if not the largest private donation in American History.”
“The response? Vicious attacks on her,” he went on. “I’m tired of this nonsense. Very few people have done more for philanthropy. It’s disgusting and it has to stop. Susan, on behalf of the overwhelming majority of people in this nation: Thank You!! You are incredible!”

Before the considerable investment of over $6 billion, Time magazine recognized the Dells among its 100 list of philanthropists for 2025, highlighting that from the 1999 beginning of their foundation, the couple donated nearly $3 billion, much of which assists students at home and abroad.

The Growing Heart
Pepper, Age 5 | 2026
Acrylic on canvasA brilliant red heart rises from a deep blue world, supported by a strong green stem. With bold colors and expressive brushstrokes, five-year-old artist Pepper captures something both simple and profound: love is something we grow.
Painted as a gift of gratitude, The Growing Heart reminds us that even the smallest acts of kindness can take root, flourish, and grow into something extraordinary.
In Pepper’s world, a heart is not just a symbol of love. It is something alive, reaching upward, growing stronger, and full of possibility.
A young artist’s beautiful reminder that when we invest in a child’s future, we help love and opportunity grow. 🥰
