In their pursuit to defeat former President Donald Trump, Democrats have found themselves some strange bedfellows.
One family who has taken more than their fair share of abuse from the left over the years is the Cheneys. Dick Cheney, specifically, has been praised for his endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris despite being a lifelong Republican. Apparently, this was enough for the Democrats to forget how they referred to him as a “genocidal war criminal” for his bullish position on the Iraq war during former President George Bush’s administration.

His daughter Liz Cheney has often been referred to as a war hawk, and there are concerns that she may find herself in a cabinet position within a potential Harris administration.

But despite the deep political divide separating the ideals of the Cheneys and the Democrats, Governor Tim Walz was more than happy to brag about their endorsement. He claimed that the partnership gave right-leaning voters like Libertarians and “don’t tread on me” people “permission” to cross the aisle to vote for Harris.

Tim Walz just defended embracing Dick and Liz Cheney’s endorsements, claiming they ‘give permission’ to libertarians, constitutionalists, and ‘don’t tread on me’ folks to cross over.
This is beyond parody. We’ve always despised the Cheneys. pic.twitter.com/NlMLELZ8Hu

Unfortunately for both the Harris-Walz campaign and the Cheneys, X users don’t see things the same way:
The Cheneys ‘give permission’ to exactly one constituency: uniparty warmongers who support the MIC enforced New World Order. They went to the Democrats because they have nowhere else to go. They’re obsolete.

Libertarians hate Tim Walz but they hate Cheney even more

How strange to laud the support of the man who started the war you didn’t deploy to.

What the—does Tim Walz even know what a libertarian is? It’s weird how these Democrats seem to not know there was a small, but energetic Ron Paul liberty movement defecting from McCain and Romney for eight years.

These 2 and their warmongering are why I was a Democrat for 14 years. Proud to be on opposite sides again

He lies more easily than he breathes. They don’t come very much more “don’t tread on me” than me. If he thinks an endorsement from the wicked witch of J6 is going to sway me to the dark side, he is even dumber than I thought, and that absolutely staggers the imagination.

Yes endorsements by war criminals are a hot commodity
