Taylor Swift fans want her to sue the White House for swiping her song

Leftists are irate over a TikTok video from the official White House account using a Taylor Swift song.

The unhappy Swifties are encouraging the artist to pursue legal action after the account posted a video tweaking the lyrics to Swift’s new song “The Fate of Ophelia.” The video was a compilation of photos from the military, the Trump cabinet, the first family and even included the president’s infamous mugshot. It ended with a shot of Trump working at McDonald’s before the 2024 election, emblazoned with the words “The fate of America,” a play on the song’s title.

Comments poured in not just from amused supporters, but from offended Swift fans as well.

“Taylor’s gonna be maaaadddddd,” one user predicted.

“It’s clear that Taylor lives rent free in Trump’s mind. It’s absolutely romantic,” snorted another commenter.

“I would absolutely LOVE if Tay found a way to sue them for this,” wrote a third.

“The audacity to use a Taylor Swift song after talking so much shit is insane. I hope she sues you,” fantasized a fourth user.

The video eventually made it over to X, where people continued the conversation:
