Teacher at Christian private school arrested for alleged 4-year sexual relationship with student

A female private school teacher in Las Vegas was arrested for allegedly having a four-year sexual relationship with a female student.

Kaitlin Glover, 34, was charged last week with lewdness with a child of 14 or 15 and two counts of being a school employee engaging in sexual conduct with a pupil 16 or older, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

A former Athletics and Student Leadership Director for Mountain View Christian School, Glover’s arrest came after a student reported in June 2022 she had sexual contact with her, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The relationship began after the two began communicating on Snapchat, according to the student who has since graduated. The interaction reportedly lasted from December  2017 through September 2021, with Glover picking the student up and performing sex acts in her van once or twice a week.

“Glover began sending her nude photos through Snapchat,” the police report said, adding: “Victim recalled sending Miss Kaitlin Glover, her teacher, two nude photographs of herself via cellular phone.”

“The victim did not tell anyone about their relationship for four years because the suspect said she would kill herself if the victim left her or she would kill herself if she told the police,” the report added.

Attorney Marc Cook represents Mountain View and explained in a statement that Glover is no longer employed by the school.

“The undersigned represents Mountain View. My understanding is that this student graduated in 2021,” Cook said. “A family member contacted the school about these allegations this summer.”

He said Glover “has not worked at the school since the family came forward to the school with the allegations.”

“The School has and will continue to cooperate with the Metropolitan Police Department but they have not shared their findings with the School,” he concluded. “We wish the very best for the former student and hope the legal process and investigation get to the truth of this matter as expeditiously as possible.”
