Teachers’ union claims educators know ‘better than anyone’ what YOUR children need

If Americans who are paying attention have learned anything over the past few years, it’s that they are in a battle with the left for control and influence over their very own children.

At the forefront of that battle are the teachers’ unions and as their actions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic proved, they are not siding with parents. In fact, the attitude that they know best prevails, as seen in a tweet shared by the National Education Association.

“Educators love their students and know better than anyone what they need to learn and to thrive,” the union tweeted from its official account.

With reading scores and math scores declining in America and the NEA and the American Federation of Teachers, which is led by left-wing zealot Randi Weingarten, being exposed for reportedly influencing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on school reopening guidelines and slow walking in-class learning, prioritizing what’s best for children seems to be at issue here.

Yet, the quest to control children reaches all the way to the White House as seen earlier this year when President Biden spoke at an event for the 2022 National and State Teachers of the Year, telling teachers and union leaders that kids are “yours when they’re in the classroom.”

“They are all our children. They are not somebody else’s children. They’re like yours when they’re in the classroom,” he emphasized.

This attitude lends itself to the growing sentiment in America to get children out of public schools at all costs and home-school them instead. Schools have largely become indoctrination centers for the left, where children are taught to think in lockstep with the progressive mindset.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
