Teamsters boss smacks down AOC’s whining after union snubs Kamala, Dana Bash not happy

Like the black vote, Democrats have long counted on union members to obediently support the party and they blew their stacks after one of America’s biggest labor unions snubbed Kamala Harris.

On Wednesday, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) announced that it would not be endorsing a candidate in the 2024 election, breaking the tradition of throwing its support behind the Democrat presidential candidate, a monumental embarrassment for Harris who may be slightly more lucid than “Union Joe” but lacks credit with the worker bees who overwhelmingly backed Donald J. Trump in an internal poll.

After the union declined to endorse Harris, Democrats blew their stacks with the party’s foremost opinion leader, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) who took a breather from defending Hezbollah terrorists to slam Teamster’s President Sean O’Brien who responded during a Thursday appearance on CNN with Dana Bash.

“Sean O’Brien has been boosting Republicans all year while supporting anti-worker, anti-choice Senate candidates,” AOC wrote in a post to X after the union declined to endorse her party’s nominee. Meanwhile,@KamalaHarris cast the tie-breaking vote to save Teamster pensions nationwide.”

As is her specialty, Bash dropped any pretense of not being a totally biased Democratic Party shill, taking the “Squad” leader’s side and stammering after he swatted her down and suggested that Ocasio-Cortez should spend more time doing her own job and less time griping about how he did his.

“Now she has to remember that there is a clear divide, especially in Teamster members, between the Democrats and the Republicans,” O’Brien told the “Inside Politics” host. “And instead of trying to pick a fight with labor leaders who listen to their members and embrace their members’s opinions, she should maybe get into her district where it voted for Republican, far-right Republican, and maybe find out what the problem is.”

“When I have a problem at a worksite and there is criticism, I get right in there and find out…,” he continued.

“What do you mean far-right Republican?” Bash rudely cut him off. “She’s a Democrat…”

O’Brien explained that he was referring to the union’s polling

“In our polling, New York her district, voted overwhelmingly Republican to support former President Trump so she may want to focus on her instead of mine,” as Bash stewed.

It hasn’t been a good week for Bash, a “Democratic propagandist” cosplaying as a real journalist who bit off more than she could chew on Sunday’s “State of the Union” when she falsely accused Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Trump of being responsible for bomb threats in Springfield, Ohio, a big lie that the Buckeye State’s Governor acknowledged, stating that the “hoax” threats came from overseas.

The mouth that never shuts clapped back with what she claimed were receipts, posting a local Teamster chapter endorsement of Harris and “Tampon Tim” Walz, although she couldn’t have access to the internal polling numbers that O’Brien was referring to where the rank and file backed Trump by a large margin.

The former bartender wasn’t the only Democrat who lashed out after the union’s humiliation of Harris.

“It’s clear that these workers are misinformed or uninformed about Trump’s record on labor,” Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA) told the Washington Times. “His allegiance isn’t toward working people.”

“They’re not going to endorse the Democrats. That’s a big thing — They took a vote and I was at 60 percent and that is a great honor,” Trump said of the union’s non-endorsement of Harris.
