Former President Barack Obama’s “justification” for Hamas’ terror attack on Israel was eviscerated by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in a scathing indictment of lies “the radical left pushes.”
“What utter and complete bullsh*t.”

After she had held up a mirror to the president regarding his complicity in the Oct. 7 attack, podcast host Megyn Kelly raised the issue to the senator Monday on “The Megyn Kelly Show.” Teeing up Cruz with recent remarks from Obama foisting the blame on “all of us,” the host turned to her guest and prompted, “Gee, senator, could you help him out.”
“What utter and complete bullsh*t,” he began bluntly. “Was there something else you could have done? Here’s an idea. Don’t give $100 billion to the monsters who are committing these massacres.”
“Barack Obama led the effort to flood cash into Iran. The Ayatollah in Iran leads mobs chanting ‘death to America and death to Israel.’ They want to commit mass murder. They want to eliminate the state of Israel. They want to murder every Jew,” continued the Texas lawmaker rattling off the known aims of the Iranian regime.
He then reminded listeners how that money gets piped to terrorism as he offered, “Hamas — more than 90% of the funding of Hamas comes from Iran. Hezbollah — more than 90% of the funding from Hezbollah comes from Iran. Barack Obama funded them and then you listen, he says, well, what Hamas did was indefensible ‘and there’s no justification for it,’ but let me give a justification for it.”
Along with delivering a speech at an event hosted by his own Obama Foundation where he described the war in the Middle East as a “moral reckoning for all of us,” the president attempted to veil the heart of the conflict in “complexity” on “Pod Save America.”
“If there’s any chance of us being able to act constructively, to do something, it will require an admission of complexity and maintaining what on the surface may seem contradictory ideas,” contended Obama, “that what Hamas did was horrific and there’s no justification for it, and what is also true is that the occupation and what’s happening to Palestinians is unbearable.”
His addition of the notion, “You have to admit that all of us are complicit to some degree” had prompted Kelly to opine on social media, “Especially you sir.”

Cruz continued his tear against Obama and pointed out, “He actually uses the same line that the radicals at Harvard did, and of course Barack Obama’s a graduate of the Harvard Law School, just a few years ahead of me, and his justification, he says ‘the occupation is unbearable.’ What occupation? This is a lie, and it’s a lie the radical left pushes. Gaza is not occupied. Israel left Gaza.”
He further relayed how funds meant for humanitarian aid are used instead to produce weapons of war before shaming corporate media for perpetuating terrorist propaganda like the “lie that 500 Palestinians were killed” after Hamas was found responsible for a blast outside a hospital that had readily been described as an Israeli strike without evidence.
“He is repeating an antisemitic lie,” Cruz further asserted of Obama with claims to Gaza’s occupation before speaking more broadly to the left, “because in their cultural Marxist worldview, the Israelis — the Jews are the oppressors and they want to topple the oppressors.
