Ted Lieu and his Dem pals ridiculed over awkward photo holding Bud Lights

Democrats never pass on an opportunity to swear fealty to the increasingly militant LGBTQ+ movement, so it comes as no surprise who they side with in the Bud Light train wreck involving Dylan Mulvaney.

Bud Light reportedly lost more than $5 billion in market value after bringing Mulvaney on board as an ambassador, due to a boycott that took hold over associating the brand with the 26-year-old biological male who lives out a fantasy of being a girl and mocking women by perpetuating every stereotype they have spent decades trying to move past.

Leave it to U.S. Rep. Ted Lieu, D-Calif., one of the more ideologically-driven Democrats to post a photo of himself and a few pals allegedly enjoying a Bud Light — the odds are, the photo represents the first time these liberal elitists ever touched a Bud Light:

Accompanying Lieu in the photo are U.S. Reps. Mark Takano, Judy Chu, and Adam Schiff, all from California.

Lieu was responding to a tweet from New York Times columnist Maggie Haberman, who was drawing attention to the National Republican Congressional Committee slamming Bud Light in a tweet before quickly deleting it. Turns out, Anheuser-Busch donated nearly $500,000 to GOP candidates in the most recent campaign cycle.

“Thanks to Dylan Mulvaney, we can all finally admit that Bud Light tastes like water,” the NRCC said in the now-deleted tweet.

Meanwhile, the onslaught continues for Anheuser-Busch as country-music star Brantley Gilbert joined the growing number of celebrities to reject Bud Light, smashing a can of the beer at his weekend concert in Alabama while the riff for Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust” played.

Back to Lieu’s photo, to say it was a rich source for online mockery would be an understatement. Here’s a quick sampling of the hilarity from Twitter:
