Testy Biden snaps at Fox’s Doocy over Hunter news: ‘I knew you’d have a lousy question’

President Joe Biden was in no mood to answer a tough question about his involvement with his son Hunter’s business dealings, snapping at Fox News reporter Peter Doocy and then scurrying away without answering.

The notoriously testy octogenarian had wrapped up a speech in Albuquerque, New Mexico, another stop on his tour of western states where he touted his climate and green energy initiatives and slung the baloney about the greatness of  “Bidenomics,” when he was confronted by the bulldog journalist whom he has previously clashed with.

Doocy approached the president and asked, “There’s this testimony now where one of your son’s former business associates is claiming that you were on speakerphone a lot with them, talking business,” referring to his son’s former business partner Devon Archer who testified to members of Congress last week.

“I never talked business with anybody. I knew you’d have a lousy question,” Biden shot back.

“Why is that a lousy question?” Doocy asked.

“Because it’s not true,” Biden snapped as he turned his back and scurried away.

The brief confrontation marked Biden’s first public comments about Archer’s sworn deposition to the House Oversight Committee last month when he told lawmakers that the “Big Guy” had been present in telephone meetings with Hunter Biden and his business associates on multiple occasions.

Doocy later recalled the moment of Biden’s “first of its kind” reaction to Archer’s testimony on Wednesday’s edition of “Your World” with anchor Sandra Smith who was subbing for Neil Cavuto.

“He wanted to talk about the transition to a green economy, he did not want to talk about that but it does now conflict with the sworn testimony of Devon Archer,” he said. “Devon Archer went under oath to talk about these speakerphone calls, some of the Democrats that came out of that room, they were listening in private, they said the president was just talking about the weather, but he’s saying that they didn’t talk at all.”

Last year, Biden was caught on a hot mic after Doocy had asked him a question about the economy, muttering that he was a “a stupid son-of-a-b*tch,” a remark that drew criticism over the president’s hypocrisy about civility.

Biden’s snippy reaction came hours after House Republicans released bank records showing how the Biden family received millions from oligarchs in Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.

“During Joe Biden’s vice presidency, Hunter Biden sold him as ‘the brand’ to reap millions from oligarchs in Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine. It appears no real services were provided other than access to the Biden network, including Joe Biden himself. And Hunter Biden seems to have delivered. This is made clear by meals at Café Milano where then-Vice President Joe Biden dined with oligarchs from around the world who had sent money to his son,” said Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the committee’s chairman, in a statement.

“It’s clear Joe Biden knew about his son’s business dealings and allowed himself to be ‘the brand’ sold to enrich the Biden family while he was Vice President of the United States. The House Oversight Committee will continue to follow the money trail and obtain witness testimony to determine whether foreign actors targeted the Bidens, President Biden is compromised or corrupt, and our national security is threatened,” added Comer.
