Thanksgiving Day with the Trump’s: Watch footage from Mar-a-Lago

President-elect Donald Trump celebrated Thanksgiving at Mar-a-Lago with his family, including his so-called “adopted son” Elon Musk.

The Department of Government Efficiency co-chair received a standing ovation upon his arrival at the Mar-a-Lago bash.

Watch:

Musk has been spending an increasing amount of time with Trump, prompting some to label him the president-elect’s adopted son, and likewise prompting Trump himself to quip that “Elon won’t go home.”

Earlier this month, Trump’s granddaughter Kai even referred to Musk as “uncle” after he evidently golfed with her and her grandfather:

Kai later traveled to Texas to watch a SpaceX rocket launch with Musk and, in fact, documented everything in a YouTube video.

Trump and Musk were spotted at the Mar-a-Lago Thanksgiving party dining together alongside the president-elect’s youngest son, Barron, and his wife, soon-to-be First Lady Melania Trump.

At one point, “YMCA” began playing in the background. Trump responded by pumping his hands on the dining table and tapping Musk on the shoulder to encourage him to get in on the action.

Also present at the event was legendary actor Sylvester Stallone, who recently likened Trump to Founding Father George Washington.

“I’m very, very proud to be here,” he said earlier this month at an event with Trump. “I didn’t expect this. When I did ‘Rocky,’ if you remember, the first image was a picture of Jesus that says ‘Resurrection A.C. Club.’ I found a church that had been converted to a boxing ring. So the image pans out from Jesus onto Rocky being hit, and at that moment he was the chosen person, and that’s how I began the journey.”

“Something was going to happen. This man was going to go through a metamorphosis and change lives, just like President Trump. We are in the presence of a really mythical character. I love mythology. And this individual does not exist on this planet. Nobody in the world could have pulled off what he pulled off, so I’m in awe,” he added.

“When George Washington defended his country, he had no idea that he was gonna change the world. Because without him, you could imagine what the world would look like. Guess what? We got the 2nd George Washington,” he concluded.

The actor was spotted chatting with Musk at Thursday’s Thanksgiving bash.

Watch:

“I was telling @TheSlyStallone that I just watched Demolition Man again and how well it predicted the crazy woke future 30 years ago!” Musk later tweeted about his conversation with the actor.

Stallone’s recent MAGA conversion has come as quite a shock to many given the apolitical stance he maintained for years.

“Stallone had previously stayed mum about his political endorsements throughout the election cycles in 2016, 2020 and this year, having revealed that he didn’t vote in presidential elections the prior two times,” according to Deadline.

However, in 2016 he told Variety magazine that he “love[s]” Trump and considers him to be a “great Dickensian character.” Two years later, he was spotted in the Oval Office as Trump posthumously pardoned former world champion boxer Jack Johnson.

Trump for his part started Thanksgiving with a message posted to Twitter/X and Truth Social early Thursday morning.

“Happy Thanksgiving to all including to the Radical Left Lunatics who have worked so hard to destroy our Country, but who have miserably failed, and will always fail, because their ideas and policies are so hopelessly bad that the great people of our Nation just gave a landslide victory to those who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he wrote.

“Don’t worry, our Country will soon be respected, productive, fair, and strong, and you will be, more than ever before, proud to be an American!” he added.
