A female pool player was applauded by the crowd when she forfeited the final match pitting her up against a biological male claiming to be a woman.
After participating in the process of determining who would go first, Lynne Pinches informed the official at the table in Denbighshire, Wales, that she would not be competing against the transgender woman, Chris “Harriet” Haynes.
The cowardly organization responded by awarding Haynes the 2023 Champion of Champions Ladies winner, posting a photo of Haynes holding the trophy on its website.
A female pool player reportedly refused to compete against a trans-identified male opponent at the Women’s Champions of Champions Final in Denbighshire, Wales, yesterday.

The website also featured a photo of Pinches, who was boasting a big smile as she held the runner-up trophy.
Social media users seemed to agree that the only way to stop the “insanity” of women being forced to compete against biological males is to do just what Pinches did — refuse to participate.
Here’s a quick sampling of some of the responses to the story, as seen on X:
Yes!! Finally a brave woman. DO NOT COMPETE against men and they will stop this insanity.

Good.
More female sports athletes need to take the same stance.
It isn’t fair. It isn’t inclusive.
Start refusing and watch the power shift back to the players, not the policies.

Love hearing the crowd cheering for Lynne, the bloke looks stupid holding his pointless, undeserved, trophy.

I applaud her but what is the solution here? He still got rewarded and she was essentially forced out of her own sport. Will we have to make our own everything all over again until the end of time?

Well done, Lynne. Principle before trophy is a far better prize anyway.

I wish all real females would do this. The message will never be sent if they keep letting dudes play. Lynne wins this one.

That took balls…in a metaphoric kind of way. I applaud her for walking off. These dudes need to stay out of women’s anything – sports, dresses, heels, restrooms, etc.

Good for her leading the way. This is the only way forward where men are being allowed into women’s sports. All the real women need to walk out en masse and that would be the end of it.
