Dems’ worst nightmare: Black conservative candidate, byproduct of rape, shares pro-life story

Kathy Barnette appears to be the right person for the right time. A black conservative, Barnette is running for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania and has declared in fundraising efforts, rightfully so it would seem, that she is “the absolute last person the Democrats want to have to run against.”

The author of the book “Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gain: Being Black and Conservative in America,” Barnette was the product of rape and is a fierce proponent of the sanctity of life as the nation now grapples with the issue of abortion amid an unprecedented leak at the Supreme Court that suggests Roe v. Wade may soon be overturned.

And while Democratic politicians took to the airwaves this week to proudly recount their experiences in having abortions, Barnette shared a moving video about herself that celebrates the gift of life in the face of the alternative many on the left would have prescribed given the circumstances.

“My life has value,” she said in the video, choking back her emotions.

“I’m the byproduct of rape. My mother was eleven when I was conceived. In the world the Left desires, I would never have been born. We need leaders with a steady hand to direct our nation through these difficult discussions,” Barnette tweeted.

“Before the foundation of the world, God saw me and He decided that I would be and He said in His words that, ‘Not only did I see you, but I called you and I predestined you,'” Barnette said in the video. “So, as a Christian, I believe in the value of life, that when I was in my mother’s womb that He was knitting me together.”

At a recent debate, Barnette spoke about what black people want and how the Republican Party has the right message to win over these voters.

“We have the best story to tell, the problem is we keep picking people who suck a selling it,” she boldly declared.

One thing is certain, a very confident Barnette is turning heads on the right, as seen here:
