Meghan McCain has called for Dr. Anthony Fauci to be imprisoned on account of the lies he told about the COVID-19 vaccine.
McCain issued the stunning call for imprisonment after Sen. Ron Johnson published emails from Fauci’s former government account showing him expressing concerns about the COVID vaccine’s effects on pregnant women as early as January 2021.
“I asked around a bit more and another issue came up that you need to be aware of,” Fauci at the time wrote in an email to other Biden administration officials. “Since many people have significant cytokine storm and fever after the 2nd dose, this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.”
NEW: Dr. Fauci was concerned in January 2021 that the second dose of the COVID shot “theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.”

This bombshell email contradicted what Fauci said publicly months later.
“When you look at the unvaccinated versus the vaccinated, there is absolutely no increased risk of that,” he said in August of 2021 while talking about potential COVID vaccine pregnancy complications.
“So because of that, the CDC and the ACOG, the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, who used to say it is okay for them, for pregnant women to get vaccinated, to change now and say it is recommended that pregnant women get vaccinated. So it’s really one of those things that’s kind of not a close call. It really is pretty clear that pregnant women should get vaccinated,” he added.

The contradiction in his statements has since prompted massive outrage from women across the country, including McCain.
“PUT FAUCI IN JAIL!!!! (I am a woman who was pregnant and had a miscarriage during Covid),” she tweeted Monday.
“This is not hyperbole – handcuff, perp walk and put Fauci in a jail cell for the rest of his life,” McCain added in a second tweet.
Both tweets boasted thousands of likes as of Tuesday morning.
McCain was by no means alone in her complaints. Even Daniella Greenbaum Davis, the former award-winning producer of The View, slammed Fauci.
“When I was working at The View, I was pregnant,” she tweeted. “We had a guest come on air who had just come back from a briefing w Fauci at the White House. She was on air and told Americans that everything was fine and to take the subway and just wash their hands.”
“During the commercial break she told me to go home and not come back. F-ck Fauci. And f-ck every single person who blames the americans who don’t trust institutions instead of the liars who got us here,” she added.
Many others shared her and McCain’s anger:
I had a close friend suffer a miscarriage and I can’t help but suspect it was related to the vaccine. She would be devastated if she knew positively it was related as she got the vaccine on a whim when it was mass promoted and before people started figuring out there were issues. https://t.co/GZVkiY6DAT

“My daughter took the first two shots to keep her job,” one critic tweeted. “She had two miscarriages in the first trimester. One in 2023, and another in 2024. Fortunately she had my granddaughter in 2025.”
“My daughter, who was forced to get the va (vaccine) because of her job, lost her second baby at 15 weeks,” another added. “I had a hunch this was the reason. Words fail me right now. I am sick to my stomach.”
I miscarried at 12 weeks just 5 days after a booster. Booster was taken after NP stated she would be more worried about me as a mother if i declined it. https://t.co/PmMkFU5a3K
