Twitter CEO Elon Musk is a master at marketing and he threw more red meat to Twitter users early Monday morning by posting an image of “My bedside table,” which included 2 guns, 4 empty cans of caffeine-free Diet Coke, and a picture of George Washington crossing the Delaware River.
One of the guns is a vintage firearm that is set inside a box with the picture of Washington appearing on the inside lid. According to Alex Hern, technology editor at The Guardian, the other gun in the image is a replica pistol from the video game “Deus Ex: Human Revolution.”
In the lower lefthand corner of the picture is what appears to be a vajra, which represents strength and wisdom in Buddhism. In Vajrayana Buddhism, it also represents indestructible power. According to Hinduism, the vajra is considered one of the most powerful weapons in the universe.
Musk added an apology to the tweet saying, “There’s no excuse for my lack of coasters.”

The photo of his bedside table just screams patriotism and further enflames the left who have been screeching non-stop since he fired thousands of Twitter employees in an effort to revamp the company and turn a profit. Their never-ending chorus that Twitter is dead has been bereft of anything close to what is actually happening with the company.
Since being posted, the pic has garnered almost 400,000 likes.
Musk has previously expressed support for the Second Amendment right to bear arms following the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Texas.
“I strongly believe that the right to bear arms is an important safeguard against potential tyranny of government. Historically, maintaining their power over the people is why those in power did not allow public ownership of guns,” Musk told CNBC in an email.
He also said that people who purchase guns should go through “tight background checks.”
As for Diet Coke, Musk is also well known for his love of the drink. In a 2007 interview, he told Inc that he consumed eight cans of Diet Coke and lots of coffee in a day to stay on top of his hectic schedule. The mogul said his offices only have caffeine-free Diet Coke now.

Recently, Musk has not only set the left on fire by purchasing the social media platform to reinstate free speech on it, but he has also come out and said that he will vote Republican this time around and said he would support Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis if he mounts a 2024 presidential campaign. He has scathingly attacked Democrats for censorship on things such as the Hunter Biden laptop story that Twitter squelched. Musk is a self-proclaimed free-speech absolutist.
The tech visionary is prepping to reinstate accounts that were banned as long as they weren’t doing something illegal. Last week he restored former President Trump’s account along with Jordan Peterson, the Babylon Bee, and others. Most of those accounts are reportedly conservative.

The billionaire’s tweets to his 120 million followers have acted almost like a one-man marketing firm, drawing a massive number of new users to the platform. This latest one will no doubt also up the numbers on Twitter.
On Saturday, Musk shared a series of slides concerning Twitter. They included graphs showing that sign-ups reached an average of two million per day, up 66% from a year ago. One of the slides also said that Twitter is recruiting.
In response to a tweet by Jordan Peterson about the slides, Musk predicted, “I think I see a path to Twitter exceeding a billion monthly users in 12 to 18 months.”

Washington crossed the Delaware on Christmas night, 1776 with about 2400 troops. The next day, he led these troops to victory at the Battle of Trenton, which was a major turning point in our War for Independence.
