The media’s most left-wing talking heads are already salivating at the prospect of Ivanka Trump testifying in her father’s New York trial.
As previously reported, New York Attorney General Letitia James has accused former President Donald Trump, the Trump organization, and his sons of committing fraud. Ivanka was reportedly once also a defendant in the case, up until a court removed her from the case because of New York’s statute of limitations.
However, despite Ivanka being removed from the case, James decided to subpoena her, to which Ivanka’s attorneys responded by filing a motion to quash the subpoena. That motion was struck down in court Friday by New York Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron, who ruled that Ivanka must still testify in the case.
The media’s salivation and speculation began almost immediately after Engoron’s ruling, with MSNBC’s radically far-left talking heads leading the charge. Over on MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House,” former Obama administration official Neal Katyal predicted that after Ivanka testifies, her own father will trash-talk her.
Listen:
“The chickens are coming home to roost. Initially, the cross-examination… by Trump of Ivanka and the two sons will be friendly, but, you know, Ivanka has already provided some testimony against her father,” Katyal said, referencing previous testimony she delivered before the Jan. 6th committee.
“And it wouldn’t shock if there’s a lot more to come. And so the real question to me… is how long is it gonna take Donald Trump to attack his own daughter if, as I suspect, she reveals damaging information about him,” he added.
MSNBC contributor John Heilemann responded to this premise by speculating about what exactly this trash-talking might sound like.
“A moment’s gonna come when Trump’s gonna say, ‘Ivanka Trump? Barely met her. Hardly know her. I don’t know who that person is. I barely recognize that woman. She’s barely my daughter,'” he quipped.
Funny …
Their fellow leftists responded to the speculation with their own speculation (*Language warning):
“I hardly knew her.”

“Barely know her, met her mother once or twice, terrible woman, think she married a Jew, apart from that if I could I would”.

TFG will throw his own family under the bus and burn down the country to save himself. He’s a malignant narcissist with no empathy, compassion, or concerns for anyone other than himself.

Anyone will be sacrificed, he is totally focussed on himself. Has never been held accountable, his parents should have curbed his hideous behaviour as a child. He should never have been allowed to take control of the business. He’s a vile human being.

Note what one MSNBC fan tweeted: “[H]e’s going to attack all 3.”
The fan meant Trump may also trash-talk his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump — in addition to Ivanka — once they testify in the case.
“Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, both executives at the Trump Organization, will testify on James’s direct case on Wednesday and Thursday” of next week, according to The Washington Post.
Dovetailing back to Ivanka, Trump never trash-talked her after she testified before the Jan. 6th committee — and this despite her complying with the committee.
“[T]hose familiar with the interview said Ms. Trump did not seek to invoke any privilege — such as executive privilege or the Fifth Amendment, as other witnesses have done — and broadly, if not garrulously, answered the panel’s questions,” The New York Times confirmed on April 5th, 2022.
And he didn’t trash-talk her despite Ivanka reportedly giving the committee exactly “what it needed.”
“Among other things, Ivanka Trump acknowledged to the Committee that: (1) she agreed with Attorney General Barr’s statements that there was no evidence of sufficient fraud to overturn the election; (2) the President and others are bound by the rulings of the courts and the rule of law; (3) President Trump pressured Vice-President Pence on the morning of January 6 regarding his authorities at the joint session of Congress that day to count electoral votes; and (4) President Trump watched the violence on television as it was occurring,” according to the committee’s executive report.
