‘The View’ blows up when anti-Trump Chris Christie reveals he won’t vote for Biden

The batty hosts of “The View” pounced on Chris Christie this Friday after he said he doesn’t intend to vote for President Joe Biden.

Appearing on the program, he was asked by resident bigot Ana Navarro whether he intends to vote for President Biden.

Listen to the discussion that ensued below:

“Right now, I’m not voting for either,” Christie replied. “I’m just not. I can’t. One guy is completely, mentally incompetent to do the job.”

He was then cut off by a furious co-host Joy Behar.

“But you have to vote!” she yelped.

“No, I’m gonna vote down ticket,” Christie pushed back. “I don’t have to vote — no!”

“You cannot throw away your vote,” fellow host Sunny Hostin responded.

Christie rightly didn’t care what she had to say.

“I disagree with you,” he told her. “I am gonna sit this one out.”

Navarro then jumped back in, saying, “But Chris, don’t you think it’s rich for you to tell the Democrats that they’ve got to get rid of their nominee when you’re not willing to vote for any of their nominees?”

“I didn’t say that,” Christie replied. “I’m willing to consider anybody who presents themselves as someone who will make the country better.”

And evidently, he doesn’t believe either Biden or former President Trump “will make the country better.” But according to Christie, he isn’t impressed with Vice President Kamala Harris either.

When asked why not, he replied, “We only have like a minute-thirty — I don’t have enough time [to explain why not].”

The discussion comes amid a growing effort by Democrats to oust Biden from the 2024 ticket and replace him with virtually anybody else, but most likely Vice President Harris.

The effort has been heating up thanks to the involvement of top Democrat Nancy Pelosi.

A report from Politico noted that Pelosi has privately expressed support for an open convention so that a new Democrat nominee may be chosen.

“In a meeting with fellow California Democrats last week, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi stressed the need for an open process to choose the party’s next nominee if President Joe Biden steps aside, in an effort to avoid the appearance of a Kamala Harris coronation,” Politico reported.

“The discussion in that meeting of the California delegation, which includes 40 members, took place in the Capitol on July 10, at least partly focused on the complicated next steps for the Democratic Party if Biden left the ticket. And they specifically talked about the potential political downsides of party elites quickly crowning the vice president as the next nominee,” the report continued.

A separate report from The Guardian revealed that “Pelosi has taken a prominent role in passing messages from House Democrats to the White House, relaying concerns that Biden is incapable of beating Donald Trump in November, and has said she thinks Biden is close to making a decision to end his campaign.”

“Pelosi has been widely reported as orchestrating the renewed pressure on Biden to give up his re-election bid, which has intensified in recent days after a brief pause following last Saturday’s failed assassination attempt on Trump, to which the president responded with a series of authoritative statements calling for calm,” the report continued.

Meanwhile, according to CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, Biden is “seething” over Pelosi’s involvement in the movement to oust him:

“Tonight, President Biden is in isolation, as he’s fighting off symptoms from COVID-19,” she said late Friday. “But he’s also on isolation in the figurative sense, as he is now fighting off new calls from his own party to get out of the 2024 race.”

“The party that Biden has devoted his life to is unleashing a new and really public effort to push him out of challenging Donald Trump for the White House. A slew of House Democrats have joined two more prominent Democratic senators tonight, in calling for Biden to step aside,” she added.

And stunningly, Pelosi appears to be behind much of it.

“All of it, we are told, has President Biden seething, tonight, with much of his anger directed at Nancy Pelosi,” Collins continued. “That’s because some of the names that are calling for him to drop out of the race are her close allies.”
