‘The View’ co-host Joy Behar blames climate change, Trump for the rain at Burning Man

The ladies on “The View” returned from their summer hiatus and fans who missed the asinine takes of co-host Joy Behar and friends weren’t disappointed because there were some real doozies including blaming a familiar scapegoat for the weather.

On Tuesday’s edition of the popular ABC daytime gabfest, the crew was back at their table with the exception of Whoopi Goldberg who reportedly had COVID, and the topic was the weather, specifically this year’s Burning Man festival.

As with every adverse weather event these days, leftists are claiming that the unusually heavy rain that stranded over 70,000 festivalgoers in the muddy Nevada desert is the fault of climate change, and since it’s “The View” there was also much blame put on former President Donald J. Trump, a regular punching bag for the show’s screeching left-wing harpies.

“This is one of the many tragedies this summer due to climate change,” Behar said of the Burning Man deluge. “This is another one of those. They better deal with this.”

“Yes, the Maui fires,” co-host Sara Haines chimed in.

“This is the number one existential problem in this…” insisted Behar.

“It rained three months-worth over 24 hours,” said Sunny Hostin who had only moments before been discussing the “poop” problem at the festival.

Ever the dutiful Democratic Party shill, Behar pointed the finger at the GOP and of course, Trump.

“But when I hear Republicans say, “oh, it’s not man-made. It’s not about fossil fuels.” You know, when Trump was president, all of that went up – the fossil fuel usage went up,” she said.

Hostin added, “And the regulations went down.”

“He is a menace to the planet,” Behar exclaimed.

“Please don’t vote for him. I’m begging you. Get him out of here. He’s so dangerous,” she added, drawing hearty applause from the audience.

“He’s so dangerous,” Behar repeated as Ana Navarro tried to shift the focus to the inferno that engulfed Lahaina and the recent hurricane in Florida.

Behar then rattled off a litany of other weather phenomena that she attributed to the alleged weather apocalypse.

“There were fires in Greece. There were fires in Italy. Phoenix had a 116-degree temperature,” she said, something not uncommon for the sweltering Arizona summer. “Palm Springs must have been over a hundred… the aquifers are drying up. If we don’t have water, we can’t exist.”

“They have to stop denying and stop with the fossil fuels and whatever else is causing this… I’m begging you, don’t vote for him!” Behar ranted because it’s all Trump’s fault.

Another impending disaster, the much-anticipated return of the bad old days of lockdowns and mask mandates and the society-paralyzing pestilence of COVID reared its head on the set when it was announced that the longtime co-host Goldberg had been stricken with the virus.

“As you can see, Whoopi is not here, she has COVID” announced Behar. “It’s back! It’s back!”

And “The View” is also back, with a vengeance.
