‘The View’ explodes when co-host won’t vow to vote for Biden: ‘Oh, it’s chaos!’

The co-hosts of “The View” berated fellow co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin on Friday over her plans to not vote for President Joe Biden in the 2024 race.

The relevant discussion began with co-host Joy Behar, a far-left Democrat, expressing confusion over President Joe Biden’s current polling numbers.

“Let me just say something about Joe Biden. According to what I’m observing, the economy is booming, inflation is down, the stock market is doing well, people are having an easier time putting bread on the table, etc.,” she said.

“He doesn’t seem to be getting the credit for that, only 41 per cent approval. Is it because they think he’s old? Because I don’t see anything else they can point to with him particularly,” she added.

Griffin responded by suggesting it’s “a question for Democrats,” since polls also show that many Democrats don’t even want Biden as the 2024 nominee.

That’s when the fireworks began.

Behar immediately pushed back, saying, “Well, no it’s a question for you really because you said you would not vote for Biden.”

It was a reference to an admission Griffin made last month.

Taken aback by the accusation, Griffin replied, “We’re talking about my vote — one vote?”

Co-host Sunny Hostin then jumped into the fray, lecturing Griffin, “Every vote counts, and I’m gonna tell it to you again, even though you don’t want to hear it.”

As Hostin continued talking, Griffin started speaking over her, prompting Behar to cut in and demand that they speak “one at a time!”

Griffin then continued with her point: “Why is your candidate not doing better with Democrats? That’s who he needs to win.”

“Because they think he’s old, that’s why. … I am the same age as Joe Biden,” Behar responded.

The segment continued with Griffin saying, “Joe Biden is not doing poorly because I won’t vote for Joe Biden. Let me just make that perfectly clear!”

Before the segment concluded, Hostin got in one last barb, telling Griffin, “You have to, at one point, put country before your party.”

As previously reported, Griffin is the ostensible conservative co-host, though she rarely speaks and acts like a true conservative.

In fairness to her, however, she did admit last month that she won’t be voting for Biden.

“Our primary system is very flawed. Seven in 10 Americans don’t want Joe Biden again and six in 10 don’t want Donald Trump. Why are we doing the rematch from hell that nobody wants?” she said at the time.

She then clarified her comments, noting that she “could absolutely never support Donald Trump again” and wouldn’t be voting for Biden either.

“I also probably won’t support Joe Biden. I’ll write someone in,” she said.

Behar quickly shot back, “Why!? Why not!?”

“He doesn’t reflect my beliefs. I feel differently on national security, on life issues, on the economy,” Griffin replied.

Co-host Ana Navarro, another fake Republican (though one much worse than Griffin), pushed back this time, asking, “Do you think a Republican would have done something different?”

Without hesitating, Griffin replied, “Absolutely. I don’t know that Donald Trump would have. Any other Republican would have handled it slower, steadier.”

“I don’t want either. That’s what most Americans are saying,” she added, prompting a lecture from Navarro.

“I voted for Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, and I’ll vote for Joe Biden again, because if the choice is a man who in my view is a threat to national security, a threat to democracy, a threat to world order, evil, crazy and unstable, and I have a binary choice, I either vote for the whack job or I vote for Joe Biden,” she said.

Behar then jumped back in to point the discussion back to Griffin.

“SHE said she would not vote for Joe Biden!” she said, pointing at Griffin.

Griffin responded by explaining her position.

“I said it before. The answer might be different if I lived in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, in a swing district where my vote could be a difference. That would be a different scenario. I’m voting in Manhattan. I’ll write in someone, I’ll likely write in Will Hurd. I could vote for Tim Scott or Nikki Haley,” she said.

This also upset Behar, who called it an “invalid vote” and asked Griffin why she’d waste her vote like this.

“I’m not going to be boxed into what I think is a failing two-party system where we’re not putting up our best candidates,” Griffin fired back.
