Leftists have spent days spewing ridiculous takes after terrorists attacked Israel but the ladies on “The View” took the cake with a doozy of a conspiracy theory on why it happened.
On Thursday’s edition of the ABC daytime gabfest, co-host Sara Haines claimed that the murderous Islamist savages who slaughtered over 1,000 innocent Jewish victims could have been inspired by the tumult in the GOP-controlled House of Representatives.
Haines, normally the least crazed of the gaggle of shrieking harpies, suggested that the recent ouster of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) as speaker and the uncertainty of who will replace him gave the savages a green light to massacre Israelis and Americans, including the decapitation of babies.
Sara Haines claims GOP infighting over the speaker “invited” Hamas to attack Israel.
“The world is seemingly blowing up right now, and the U.S. Looks weak…this division invites enemies in…”

The discussion around the table was about disinformation, a term that pretty much means whatever the reigning leftist establishment doesn’t like, when Haines spouted her crackpot theory.
“The world is seemingly blowing up right now, and the U.S. looks weak…,” she said, although she didn’t bother to mention that the Biden regime’s surrender of Afghanistan to the Taliban was a major factor in the global perception of the USA.
“That’s right,” co-host Joy Behar agreed.
Haines continued “…on the world stage because we can’t even name a speaker of the House. And last week it was kind of amusing, we talked about it here, you have the McCarthy is out, Gaetz is enjoying 30 seconds in the sun and Jim Jordan is your next best option and everything was kind of funny. And then perspective slaps you in the face. And on Saturday after that terrorist attack, I kind of looked at it and thought, you know, this division invites enemies in.”
“And right now we’re seeing a massive spread of disinformation on our — online as a result of this. And so, as a result of this, we talked about maybe watching less news. We were all yesterday teasing about like for our mental health we need to do that. I would encourage House Republicans to watch more news for perspective,” she added.
Not to be outdone, Behar had her own conspiracy theory.
“But they have to know, Alyssa, that Putin is watching this!” she told the show’s token conservative and chew toy Alyssa Farah Griffin. “That’s why he wants Trump back because Trump divides people! That’s why! And Putin isn’t – isn’t – please. I can’t. I have the same birthday as him. I will not get over that.”
Earlier this week, Behar also insinuated that Trump and Putin were behind the attack on Israel.
@ “It’s very interesting…I’m very suspicious of this…”
Joy goes on to say she wants to know who’s behind the attack and apparently tried to link the attack to the 2018 Trump/Putin meeting in Helsinki and it being part of a larger plot to divert aid from Ukraine. pic.twitter.com/pHbFDNAwc5— Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) October 10, 2023
The plot thickened over the situation in the House when Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) dropped out of the running for the gavel late Thursday as former Speaker Kevin McCarthy lurked in the background looking to get his job back.
