‘The View’ reportedly ready to name it’s ‘conservative’ co-host and nobody is happy about it

Since the departure of Meghan McCain, ‘The View’ has been looking for a permanent “conservative” co-host. On Tuesday, a report indicated that they had settled on who would be filling that spot.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, the former communications director for former President Donald Trump, was allegedly selected out of a list of several potential candidates the show had hosted, including Stephanie Grisham and Tara Setmayer, according to the Daily Mail.

Despite her history working for Trump, whom the ladies of ‘The View’ hold in contempt, Griffin’s willingness to condemn her former boss likely made her a more competitive candidate than someone who would continue to defend him.

While the show reps have yet to confirm the rumor as of this posting, the news had already gone viral and people were quick to give their thoughts:
