‘The View’ SPIRALS over Pam Bondi pick: ‘She hasn’t beheaded a whale … my, G*d!’

One would think Matt Gaetz withdrawing from consideration for attorney general would soothe the ladies of “The View,” but apparently not.

On Friday’s episode, the co-hosts debated whether Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi was any better than Gaetz, with each of the hosts coming to their own conclusions.

“We’re all thrilled that Matt Gaetz, I agree with you, Alyssa, he would have been a very dangerous pick for the Department of Justice,” Sunny Hostin said. “But his new pick, Trump’s new pick, Pam Bondi, I believe she’s a dangerous pick as well because she is — during her — she supported Trump’s false election claims. She was involved in the efforts to overturn the results and so that is now the person that’s going to be chief law enforcement?”

This stirred up the other co-hosts and shockingly sparked pushback from Ana Navarro who claims to have a more personal relationship with Bondi.

“I have known Pam Bondi for many, many, many years. I will tell you, I don’t want to ruin her reputation with MAGA people but Pam Bondi and I hung out a lot when she was attorney general of Florida and she would come to Miami. We drank a lot together. I liked her a lot. She’s not a kook. What’s a little election denialism between friends,” Navarro joked.

“Everything in life is relative. There is no accusation of sexual harassment or assault against her. There’s no accusations-”

“She’s a woman,” Joy Behar pointed out.

“She’s also qualified!” Alyssa Farrah Griffin chimed in.

“She hasn’t beheaded a whale. She hasn’t stabbed a dead bear cub. I mean, my God!” Navarro exclaimed.

Hostin came back into the conversation to rain on the parade, playing a clip of Bondi’s “election denialism” to prove her point.

“I don’t think we need to minimize someone like that being- who is supposed to be the people’s attorney. She’s going to be Trump’s attorney,” Hostin said.

“I would still take her over Matt Gaetz. I’m not minimizing,” Sara Haines responded.

“Take the dead bear cub over Matt Gaetz,” Navarro added.

At the end of the segment, Hostin was forced to repeat her now-infamous “legal notes” yet again about Matt Gaetz and Pete Hegseth, reminding audiences that both men maintain their ignorance against their respective allegations, and not legal action has been taken in either case.
