Former President Donald J. Trump kicked off his latest campaign with a visit to the deep red territory of Texas where he delivered the goods to an enthusiastic crowd of patriotic supporters and as could be expected, hammered Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg who could soon indict him.
On Saturday, the 2024 Republican party frontrunner spoke to thousands at the Waco Regional Airport in a city that is the home of Baylor University as well as the site of the 1993 siege in which dozens of members of a religious sect including children lost their lives when heavily-armed government forces stormed their compound.
With the criticism of Bragg’s malicious prosecution being a common theme of the last week for Trump who has repeatedly hammered the George Soros-backed prosecutor on his Truth Social media platform, the ex-POTUS struck a defiant tone against one of the multiple ongoing prongs of the leftist witch hunt that is being waged against him.
“For seven years, you and I have been taking on the corrupt, rotten, sinister forces trying to destroy America,” Trump said during his speech. “The Biden regime’s weaponization of our system of justice is straight out of the Stalinist Russia horror show’”
“This is really prosecutorial misconduct,” Trump added of Bragg’s efforts to bring an indictment against him. “The innocence of people makes no difference to these radical left maniacs.”
“They have nothing!’ Trump told the raucous audience who repeatedly erupted in applause, adding Bragg’s office is “stocked with D.C. operatives,” he had previously accused President Joe Biden of having ”’stuffed’ the D.A.’s Office with Department of Injustice people.”
“I think they’ve already dropped the case,” Trump later told reporters on his plane after the rally had concluded according to Axios. “It’s a fake case. Some fake cases, they have absolutely nothing.”
The GOP frontrunner’s remarks came after Bragg’s probe was seemingly thrown into disarray after the grand jury inexplicably called off two consecutive days of deliberations last week and rumors of “major dissension” in his office were reported.
Trump also lashed out at Stormy Daniels, a glorified prostitute at least in the defined term of a woman who receives money for sex which she often did during her porn industry career, compiling an extensive filmography that features such enduring contributions to the cultural canon as “Big Busted Goddesses of Las Vegas,” “Cupid’s Arrow,” “Camp Cuddly Pines Powertool Massacre” and “Operation: Desert Stormy” among others, many with titles too lewd for a family publication.

‘I never liked horseface… that wouldn’t be the one. There is no one. We have a great first lady!'” Trump said, denying the alleged affair with the smut queen who is the central figure in Bragg’s trumped-up case built around a “hush money” payment through the disgraced lawyer and convicted felon Michael Cohen, the prosecution’s star witness despite his overwhelming credibility problems, not the least of which is being a “serial liar” according to his former legal adviser.
“All of the hatred, rage, and contempt the radical left has for your and your values has been directed to me,” Trump told the crowd. “And the only way to stop these arsonists is to rebuke and reject this persecution by sending us back to the White House in 2024.”
“Either we surrender to the demonic forces demolishing our country, or we defeat them in a landslide,” he warned. “Either the deep state destroys America, or we destroy the deep state.”
