‘This ain’t Colorado!’ 32 armed Venezuelan gang members take building in Chicago, start turf war

Amid news of an armed Venezuelan gang taking over an apartment complex in Colorado, new reports claim the same thing is happening in Chicago.

“A group of 32 armed Venezualans (sic) took over an apartment building in Chicago tonight,” the popular Libs of TikTok account on X shared, posting an audio recording of the emergency 911 dispatch call.

“First they did this in Aurora, CO and now Chicago? Which city will be next?” the post asked. “This invasion happened on Kamala’s watch.”

Police were reportedly sent to the 6100 block of South King Drive on Monday after the call that claimed dozens of armed Venezuelans were trespassing in a residential building, blocking stairwells and hanging around in the courtyard, according to one post on X which also noted that it allegedly took officers an hour to arrive on the scene where “no migrants were found in possession of weapons or motorcycles, and no immediate threat was identified.”

One social media post was a message warning Venezuelans in Chicago to “stay neutral.”

The TikTok user warned that alleged gangs should think twice before taking over buildings because word will get out of their presence and the gang wars that will follow will not be pretty.

“This aint Colorado…This is just like where you’re from. The only difference is, y’all use a to of handguns, old revolvers and machetes and sh-t,” the man said.

“We got switches,” he continued. “If you’re not familiar with what a switch is, we will show you.”

Social media erupted in reaction to the reported gang in the Chicago building.
