If there’s any group that can be counted on to be honest and ask the hard questions, it’s children.
During a special “bring your children to work day” version of her daily briefing, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was asked several hilarious questions by the future generations of America.
“How many people has he fired?” one young girl asked of President Donald Trump, who made the phrase “You’re fired!” famous during the filming of The Apprentice.
Question: How many people has he fired?
Leavitt: Thus far we have not had anyone fired with the exception of one individual who did leave their job pic.twitter.com/XLCAwuAvZT

“Thus far, we have not actually had anyone fired, with the exception of one individual who did leave their job. But we have a great team here – so far, so good,” she responded.
Another child asked Leavitt what her “least favorite news outlet” was, prompting nervous laughter from the gathered journalists.
Karoline Leavitt is so great!
Kid Question: “What’s your least favorite news outlet?”
Leavitt: “I can tell you’re a staff kid not a journalist kid. Did someone say ABC?”

“I can tell you’re a staff kid, not a journalist kid,” the press secretary laughed. “Did someone say ABC? Honestly, it depends on the day.”
Other hard-hitting questions included whether the president likes to “give hugs” and what his “favorite ice cream” flavor is:
“Does He (POTUS) like to give Hugs?”
“You know, I think he does. I have seen him give many hugs to children and his family.”pic.twitter.com/NcKuIlWTfY

“What is Donald Trump’s favorite ice cream?”
“I have seen the President enjoy Ice Cream Sundaes before with chocolate sauce and some toppings too. Raise your hand if you like Ice Cream Sundaes. It’s a very popular policy position to have.” pic.twitter.com/QX8wWLSLmx

X users reacted to the hilarious questions from the mouths of babes:
That’s great! She was a bit unsure of how to answer.

So natural and refreshingly honest. Love her and how she represents POTUS and America.

They ask more pertinent questions than the people normally in those seats.
