Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) praised Thursday’s monumental Supreme Court ruling that dealt a body blow to institutional racism by ending race-based discrimination in college admissions, a decision that drew a furious reaction from leftists, including from both Barack and Michelle Obama, the king and queen of racial recriminations.
The 2024 GOP presidential hopeful appeared on Fox News after the 6-3 ruling was announced where he discussed the future with his usual optimistic viewpoint, citing the words of slain civil rights icon the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. that Americans will be judged by their character and not their skin color, an opinion not shared by the former president and first lady who bitterly lashed out on Twitter.
Scott was asked by guest host Julie Banderas for his reaction to the former president’s remarks that “my heart breaks for any young person out there who’s wondering what their future holds — and what kinds of chances will be open to them,” the South Carolina Republican slammed the Obamas and other angry leftists for pushing a lie “from the pit of hell”

“Well, the good news is we’re going to have another African-American president. His name will be Tim Scott,” he said. “And this is January 2025. Here’s what I would say to America today: that I am excited about who we are as a nation. I’m excited about the progress that we’ve seen in the rearview mirror. But what excites me the most about America is that when you look at the windshield of our future, it is bright for all of our kids.”
“Unfortunately, the radical left have been co-opted by the teachers’ unions. And so making sure that we get back to providing quality education in every single zip code in this nation K through 12 means that with quality education K through 12, your child can go to the most elite colleges in America,” he continued. “If we fix public education, we will make sure that every generation going forward will have access to opportunities. And oh, by the way, I’m not sure that going to an elite university is the path to prosperity. It is actually going as high as your character, your grit and your talent will take you. That means whether you go to Harvard, Charleston Southern, or whether you want to be a plumber or a welder, you too can experience your version of the American dream.”
“I’m running for president because I know America can do for anyone what she has done for me. But sending the message that somehow the color of your skin means that you will not be able to achieve your goals from an educational perspective, from an income perspective or family formation, that is a lie from the pit of hell,” Scott said.
“We will not be judged solely by the color of our skin. That’s what the ruling said today. But that is the story of America. That is a story of American progress and we can all celebrate that today,” the senator added.
“This is the day we understand that being judged by the content of our character, not the color of our skin, is what our Constitution intended,” he said.
“Today’s SCOTUS decision on Affirmative Action is good news for every single corridor of this nation and one we should celebrate,” Scott tweeted, sharing a video clip of his Fox News appearance. “Today’s SCOTUS decision on Affirmative Action is good news for every single corridor of this nation and one we should celebrate.”

His and her Highness both released statements on the history-making rollback of racism in educational institutions, a decision that could potentially open the door to further efforts to scrap affirmative action in other places where reverse discrimination has taken root.
Mr. Obama is certainly no friend of Senator Scott whom he recently scoffed at for his positive message for black Americans, a demographic critical for the Democrats to keep locked inside the gates of the party plantation by entrapping them in a perpetual state of misery and blaming white people for their problems.

Scott wasn’t having it, clapping back at the racial arsonist.
“There’s no higher compliment than to be attacked by President Obama,” he told Fox News anchor Shannon Bream. “Whenever the Democrats feel threatened, they pull out – drag out – the former president, have him make some negative comments about someone running, hoping that their numbers go down.”

“The Left wants you to believe faith in America is a fraud and progress in our nation is a myth. The truth of my life disproves the lies of the radical Left,” he said of Obama and the Democrats. “They have failed, they have failed, and they have failed.”
