Tom Homan calls out heckler like only he can

White House border czar Tom Homan blasted a heckler like only he can when confronted at an event hosted by Turning Point USA.

Homan was speaking on Thursday on the campus of the University of Texas at El Paso when a heckler called him a “racist” and a “traitor.”

“Call me what you want, I don’t care,” Homan shot back, before lowering the boom. “I’ll take questions in a little bit, but why don’t you grow a backbone, put a Kevlar vest and a gun on your hip and go secure this border?”

While taking questions afterwards, a man who appeared to be the earlier heckler suggested Patrick Crusius, the gunman in the 2019 shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, was inspired by Homan and his comments supporting the Great Replacement Theory, according to Fox News.

“Patrick Crusius, your everyday conservative, drove hundreds of miles to our city based on your belief that Hispanics are replacing the white race of White people, and we need a scare to deter Hispanics from coming into the country,” the man said, before claiming “the Great Replacement is now a mainstream conservative narrative” that has been “fully integrated into mainstream media.”

“To be honest, what I said was the open border was an action, was a mess, and it was by design,” Homan replied.

There is a strong argument made that the unstated goal behind the Democratic Party’s open border policies is to artificially alter voter demographics in America, in the hopes of relegating white Anglo-Saxon Protestants (WASPs) to minority status. This “browning” of America has been largely successful.

Social media users backed Homan’s play in the Lone Star state — here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on X:
