Trans activist elementary school substitute teacher couple both cited in prostitution sting

Two gay/trans Tennessee elementary substitute teachers who are dating were reportedly cited for prostitution during an undercover police sting in August.

According to a police report reviewed by Chattanooga station WTVC, at the time an officer posing as a “john” contacted 22-year-old Ezra Fry on an “illicit prostitution website” to set up a meeting. During their discussions, Fry told the “john” everything he was willing to do and how much it’d cost ($150).

Moreover, Fry said that while he typically prefers outcalls (going to a client’s home), he wanted to do an incall (the client coming to him) since the “john” (the cop) was a new client, and since it was safer “because my husband is here.”

His husband is the other substitute teacher, 25-year-old David Acevedo.

“The officer arrived at the Orchard Knob home, where the report says Fry led him to a back bedroom and took his money. It was then the officer identified himself and he and other agents detained both Fry and Acevedo,” according to WTVC.

At the home, the officers found “a large amount of drug paraphernalia,” in addition to a .22 caliber revolver.

The report reviewed by WTVC notes that upon their arrest, the couple “both made statements during and after the search to include both stating that they have to do this or they will starve.”

“Both parties advised officers that they are Special Education teachers at Woodmore Elementary and Calvin Donaldson Elementary. During an encounter with an officer, Fry stated, ‘I don’t care, everyone has seen my [private parts],” the report continues.

It also notes that Fry admitted that he’s “been engaging in this activity for several years as a way to earn money.”

“Officers issued misdemeanor citations for both Fry and Acevedo for unlawful drug paraphernalia, prostitution or promoting prostitution, unlawful possession of a firearm, and simple possession,” WTVC notes.

This isn’t the first time that Fry, for his part, has caught the public’s attention. Back in April, Fry, who’s evidently transgender, reportedly started demanding that students call him “Mrs.”

His demand prompted outrage.

“To be clear, the difference between this situation and a gender-confused parent taking a child to a bar to be ‘entertained’ by drag queens, as some did recently, is that the parents of these first graders had no advance knowledge about this ‘teacher,’ and did not consent to their children being exposed to this gender-dysphoric indoctrination,” local resident Mark Caldwell told The Tennessee Conservative.

“For the record, I believe how an adult wants to ‘identify’ is their personal business, but it becomes all of our business when they take that identity public in order to groom young children with their identity disorder,” he added.

All this comes amid an outbreak of teachers being arrested for sex-related crimes.

“Nearly 350 public educators were arrested on child sex-related crimes in the U.S. last year, averaging to almost an arrest every day on crimes ranging from grooming to child porn to raping students,” Fox News reported in January.

“A year-long analysis … revealed that from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 of 2022, at least 349 kindergarten through 12th-grade educators were arrested on child sex crimes. The 349 educators included five principals, three assistant principals, 290 teachers, 26 substitute teachers and 25 teachers’ aides spanning nearly every state in the country. At least 262 of the arrests, or 75%, involved alleged crimes against students.”

Most recently, last month yet another special education teacher was arrested for soliciting a child for prostitution.

“On Thursday, September 21, detectives with the Washoe County School District Police Department arrested 32-year-old Ryley Coker. Coker has been charged with solicitation of a child for prostitution and abuse of a child involving sexual exploitation,” station KNRV reported.

“WCSD PD detectives, with assistance from the Regional Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit began investigating Coker after receiving information that he was in contact with a juvenile and soliciting prostitution,” the station added.
